    When that says something like
    8 Members & 20 Guests
    are googles crawlers counted as guests? Or will they register at all?

    Crawlers will be skipped over in the count of guests

    Was just curious about some of the high numbers i spotted in a couple of forums.

    The crawlers are matched with their user agent strings. vBulletin has been about quite a long time, it's very possible that there are new crawler user agents that we don't match against and these will be picked up as guests
