I dont know either. Perhaps the shock of hearing his daughter would make him hang up and freeze. at this stage the daughter was still believing it was a wind up and was happy to stay on air

when they called him back he sounded very upset and in shock and then the daughter finally thought it was true


Normally the first topic finished by 11:30 and this has gone over so maybe it is not a fake

There's only one way it could be a windup and that's if it was orchestrated by the FM104 staff, because they're the only ones who knew what the topic was going to be.
