Has anyone tired/have feedback on Aldi Frozen cooked chicken, there seems to be a few extras bits in the ingredients, but nothing too much I think link Great for when you don't feel like cooking, but not sure how good the chicken quality is (can't be too great at that price close to 2 euro I think)

they do 5 or 6 frozen breasts for 4.99 you know.
Probably no better quality but there isn't any unwanted additives from what I can remember.

Did not know actually - good value but I imagine poor chicken did not have a great life , I just thought the product I mentioned above is one to have handy in the freezer, as they are cooked - but they do seem to have additives or at least there is more than just frozen cooked chicken in there.

once defrosted you could blast them between two plates with some water for 3 * 2 minute stints in the microwave for a quick protein hit. No less handy than a frozen chicken ( although probably not as tasty depending on what way the chuck was cooked )

I buy chicken breasts - will only use free range - but I try get them reduced to clear when I can - I brine them - soak in mix of 2 tbls of salt in 2 pints of water for 2 hours - then bake in oven with oilve oil salt & pepper, then divide each in half lengthwise for portion control - and freeze.
The brining technique makes them super moist & juicy!

As many as you can fit into your container :) I should add, after brining empty in to a colander & rinse well.
