    Hi all,

Anybody got any ideas on this?

Updated my PS3 to latest firmware 2 nights ago. Went to have a blast on it yesterday (don`t use it that often) and after about an hours play it powered itself of, no warning, no beeping or led change of any kind. The only way that I could power it back on was by unplugging it and plugging it back in...

Now it is happening all the time. It could be after 5 mins or 30 mins.

I don`t think its YLOD as I`m not getting any LED change or beeping !

The PS3 has always been in an open space with ventilation.

Just wondering if anyone has seen this...

Done a search online and mentions of overheating, PSU or fan issue...confused

    Any help is much appreciated.

    regards,

    Whackball.

It's likely the PSU I have seen this before where there was no activity at all
