She's getting a bit more airtime now and is actually quite funny it turns out. Glad that she's not being portrayed as serious business all the time! Just hoping she will get another challenge win soon to help solidify her place.

I think she just needs to let go, get messy. She's very uptight but she has the intelligence and the look to be a great queen.

She was told on the most recent episode to let loose and usually when they show that kind of advice on the show the queen in question either does or ignores it. It's the comedy roast this week though so that'll be time for her to show another side - fingers crossed

Oh I forgot that was this week. Call me old fashioned but i think a queen should be funny.

I remember Coco and Trinity really blossomed in this episode in seasons gone by. I wonder who'll come through.

I like Nina but I feel like she is not in the right head space for the competition, at least that is how she is coming across. While Nina is in my view superior in many regards to Aja, Aja seemed to be growing more and more willing to try and adapt and evolve. Nina's looks, style and attitude all seem sort of the like variations on a theme. I also thought with the exception of the end, Aja's lipsync was the better.

Top three I'd like to see Valentina, Shea and Trinity. Top three we probably will see Sasha, Shea, and Trinity (possibly Alexis will swap in for one of them).

I'm mad at Trinity for looking bad in her promo look and having me underestimate her and now I can't decide if I want her or Shea to win :pac::pac:

There is a screenshot out there of the queen who goes home this week standing with her Ru trophy talking to the camera so be careful out there if you want to avoid spoilers. Sadly I encountered it before realising what it was. Ah well.

This was one of the only times I hoped there's be a double elimination :pac: I do think Aja's lipsync was better, though. I really don't like either of them though. Aja is too full of herself and Nina's attitude really stinks.

Apparently she had a different outfit planned but it clashed with Peppermint's colour - they all have a different one.

So they had to give her something already there on set - not her choice. And I agree, totally underestimated her because of this.

God that episode was tragic. So awkward to watch. I think forced comedy is probably the hardest challenge for Rupaul.

Also it just me or does Michelle look better with every episode. She looked stunning again tonight. I used not like her in early seasons but she has grown on me a lot.

Oh god it was painful to watch!! The winner definitely deserved it, and the runner up really surprised me, I thought she'd bomb. Was sad to see who went home, although it wasn't unexpected.

I enjoyed this week’s episode. As the numbers are reduced each of the girls is getting more screen time and thus their personalities, humour and relationships are coming more into focus.

Was very happy with Sasha’s performance, I think when she relaxes herself a little bit she comes across as much more likable and funny. The cringe was strong with Farah Moan, Trinity and Alexis for sure. I didn’t think Trinity’s was as atrocious as Farah’s or Alexis’s. Personally I would have liked to see Alexis go home. She is increasingly coming across as nasty, entitled and overly defensive. Farah had really grown on me, and she is just stunning, but I think she recognised as we all did that she had a lot more work to do. I could see a return for her at a future date, particularly if keeps looking so well and ups the skills. Peppermint deserved the win and she did look amazing but I’d be slightly worried that while fabulous the look was very much your standard glamourous drag… I’d like to see some more creativity.

In terms of Uncut, another interesting episode too. Really enjoyed Nina and Valentina’s one on one time. Valentina is really itching for a win. She always looks fabulous but it is like there is just something missing. Nina… Nina… Nina… after doing so well in this week’s episode and having the pleasant chat Valentina she goes off on one… What is she doing. She comes across as paranoid and bitter. If she doesn’t alter her behaviour and outlook soon she is done.

This weeks episode is supposedly crammed with drama and a gagworthy moment that will get the fandom talking and go down in herstory so it will be interesting to see if the leaked T on this episode/queen is true. We will know in a few days...!

Im excited for this weeks episode! Really want the rumours to be true just to see the absolute mess that will follow. I think she's going either way but it remains to be seen in what fashion! They haven't shown her Leigh Bowery/Club Kid look nor have they shown another queen so maybe a second win for her.

I haven't yet seen this weeks episode but unfortunately I saw a dramatic spoiler on Twitter. Subsequently a friend filled me in a bit on what happened during the episode.

I am pretty disappointed, not in the individual who left but in the show. I think Ru's biases are showing now strong and ugly. There is noone left that, for me, has the star quality, or x-factor, or whatever one wants to call it.

I hear you!!! It was so disappointing. When i heard first i thought i hope this isnt a PR stunt that the likes of simon cowell would do to pull ratings.It was just such a massive shock for me and im still so upset. Thankfully i dont feel it was anything of that sort and in one way seemed fair even though im distraught.

Now after watching the episode i dont think Ru is biased or anything and i feel he was annoyed at the blatant not knowing the lyrics. I also do not think she should have been in the bottom two at all. But it is usually teams so in keeping in line with that they were the weakest team definitely and the other queen slayed the lip sync so i feel based on that performance it was a fair send off to the weaker lip syncer. BUT. He saved tatianna and alyssa once and i just felt this is not the time to send her home. And i think the person being sent home i think ru should keep in mind the whole competition rather than one performance when a decision that tough needs doing.

I still think 4 of the bottom 6 are worthy winners though. Of the likely top 3 im happy they will be there and i think they deserve it (im talking this weeks winners plus this weeks venerial disease who i just love)

So. Here's my take.

The bottom 2 had to be the bottom 2. They were unprepared and just not that good. And I say that as a huge fan of one of them. But come on, this is Season 9 and there's no excuse for being unprepared.

In regards to the lip sync what was Ru meant to do? The eliminated queen gave up after being called out by Ru and also didn't know the words to the song. Again, this is Season 9! No excuse for being unprepared like that. She had to be eliminated even though it kills my soul.

The only thing really bothering me is Ru's little parting message to her. Usually Ru gives a little boost to the queen before she sashays away but I felt Ru was just a bit mean to her. Like rubbing salt into the wounds. I guess Ru was as disappointed as we all were to see her go but a little happier ending would have been nice especially since she could see how devastated the eliminated queen was.

I think if she had just done the lipsync without the mask from the start, she probably would have been ok even if she just improv-ed on a lot of the lyrics. I reckon she wasn't expecting to be in the bottom 2 and between that and being told to take the mask off, she completely lost her mojo.

I've watched the episode now and I can admit that I was wrong. :mad:

I loved Valentina, I wanted her to win. I admired her beauty, her personality, her talent. I have to say though, she deserved to go.

The lipsync is the most 'fundamental' part of Drag Race. It is the centrepiece of the show AND HAS BEEN SINCE DAY ONE. There is zero excuse for not preparing and knowing your lyrics. I said it about Charlie so I have to say it about Valentina.

I am personally disappointed in her. I thought she was a committed. She seemed to be. This weeks episode feels almost foreign because she acted in such an unprofessional way. Even in Untucked (not Uncut) she didn't even bother to just go the mirror, pick up the earphones and learn that f@@king song! I was shocked. It just doesn't make sense with her personality.

Ru had no bias showing, so I am sorry for suggesting he did, except for just one. 'DO NOT DISRESPECT THE LIP-SYNC'. You will be sent home, you will be sent home without sympathy and frankly you deserve it.

That said I still love you Valentina.

Got something right for once? They announced the entire elimination of AS2. They leaked photos of last weeks contestant holding the Rupaul doll well before the episode aired.

They also figured out the entire cast of season 9 when it was filming.

I was not fussed on Valentina so this week amused me greatly. She thought she'd sail through because the judges liked her, she said as much herself. Then to not even learn the lip sync song? Alexis didn't belong in the bottom two like a lot of people online are trying to say. She wasn't as strong as Peppermint and Trinity but she definitely was not bad and at least she came in prepared. The fact she was there taking it seriously went in her favour. I'm not much of a fan of her but credit where credit is due. Nina and Valentina were the correct bottom two and the elimination was fair.

Reddit are the real Nancy Drews of Drag. They were able to deduce who the queens were months before the line-up was announced by checking performance dates / Twitter activity and also using pictures of the queens body parts zoomed in to deduce who was competing. They've been the best source for queen info for years.
