Honestly curious now, after having been told that I am apparently dead on the inside for not liking the idea of going to Las Vegas.

Personally, the best fun for me at home is reading a good book, cooking and baking, or painting (not that I'm any good, I just enjoy it)

On holiday, I love going to museums, learning about the history of wherever I may be, and hiking and exploring nature.

So what do you guys do for fun?

Cooking and baking is fun and relaxing. Exploring nature is fun too, have you tried that geocaching yet?

At home? reading, tv, movies, play video games, go swimming the odd time, nice long drives even to nowhere just for the sake of going someplace down the coast.

On hols? depends on where I am, everything offers something different. Been on do nothing for 2 weeks sun hols, city breaks in Europe. Been to Canada, took a road trip down to the States with a friend, been to Orlando for the theme parks. Took a 19 day tour around the west coast of America starting in LA and ending in San Fran stopping along in Vegas, Arizona, the Grand Canyon, Bass Lake, Yosemite Park, went along Route 66 stopping at small towns, Sedona, San Diego and ended in San Fran for Halloween, best hol I've ever been on would love to do the East Coast as well.

oh that was an actual answer, AH answer, I roll flaming tires down embankments into oncoming traffic, never gets old.

I could have the shìttiest day but a few minutes with the animals and everything is grand again :)

I go drinking mostly, or eat in restaurants. All that bad hedonistic stuff. When I'm trying to be good, I like to visit different parts of the city, go for walks etc.
In this weather it's hard to do anything, and I love being outdoors. I go to South of France a few times of year where I would cycle and swim, and get totally hammered on cheap wine.

    Really?

Cause I spent a week there last year, and IMO it's very over rated.

who wants to spend their life in a sweaty casino, wasting money with majority of the crowd drunk and rowdy.

People harassing you on every street you walk down and hotel you walk in.
"take this card, buy my CD, Come to this club tonight"
    - "how about you fcuk off"

The clubs/pubs are over priced and unless you are "somebody" you can't even get a seat at a table.

Restaurants are over priced, with eat quick and get out fast attitude.

All the hotels are more or less the same (big, tacky, mad looking).

It's not a place where you can bring your children up unless you want them working as hooker or handing out hooker cards.

Vegas is an over priced money making OTT Sh*t Pitt place for piss heads and gamblers.

So much more to life than that, and can think of places 1000000 times better to live or wanting to visit.

    Rant Over :D

Wow, that was pretty much the stereotype of Vegas summed up right there. you know, off the strip it's a normal place like anywhere.

Vegas isn't all about the casinos, there is suburbs too.

I take your point though and I guess it's not for everyone. Personally, my life and my OH's life revolves heavily around gaming/poker so it'd be pretty ideal for us.

Wouldn't go living in The Bellagio or anything, although it would be nice! :D

I write computer programs to solve problems that'd be quicker solved on paper...

(And yeah, Las Vegas... I'd rather spend the money on some good books, thanks).

I like just getting outside, even for a short walk, I read, crochet, browse the web and catch up on programmes and films, and I dance.

On holiday I like eating lots of local food, experiencing the culture and a bit of history. I also like relaxing a little and swimming in the sea/a lake. Like you OP I have little or no desire to go to Vegas.

Recently discovered Geocaching - it's great craic - everyone should try it. I'll be brewing my own cider this week! Lifting heavy things in the gym. Driving. Walking in the mountains. Boards. Having chats and tea with friends. Boozing and dancing. Weekends away. Telling stupid jokes that only I laugh at.

Let me know how it goes with the cider!
I love making things I could just as easily buy in shops, just for the fun of making them.
I'd make my own jams, pickles and chutneys (they've a tendency to go wrong, though :(), I've started making granola (yum!), baking bread, making mulled wine in winter etc.

Just apple! I'm a cider making virgin currently but I've drank plenty of my friend's stuff and it's yum. He makes spiced apple, apple and raspberry, and I think pear. I'm just sticking with the apple for now and we'll see how much of a mess I make of the kitchen!

On good weather days: Archery, being outdoors, falconry, and photography...
On bad weather days: sewing, knitting, crochet... bake stuff, or cook stuff...
    yeah, that, mostly.

wouldn't have any interest in the likes of Vegas to be honest :)

I will give this a try with just apples to begin with, but I have to admit that I'm really partial to pear cider as well.
Since natural juice is needed, I'm thinking I'd be making that myself as well so.

And I've got a suspicion that apple and cherry cider might be a really good thing, too :)

I think most of my interests relate to food or travel – preferably both!I really love eating out. I also love dining in and creating recipes or trying dishes I’ve never made before to challenge myself. I simply adore cooking.I also love boat fishing in warm weather and love coming home and hot smoking my freshly caught fish for supper. I also love baking bread. I adore travelling and have been lucky enough to go to some pretty far flung places and experience amazing things and eat some great street food as well as in good restaurants. I also love food markets when abroad! Am also a voracious reader so like to have a well stocked bookcase and have a good book on the go – you’re always in good company with a good book I reckon! I also dabble a bit in blogging and creative writing. I also love hiking and hill walking which I try to do as often as possible. And I love spending time with loved ones, have a great husband, family and circle of friends so really enjoy meeting up for food and a few cheeky wines and good conversation!

Re Vegas, I spent 10 days there and frankly loved the place. Oh, and I didn't place one bet either!
