What's the most unusual holiday destination you've been on? Have you ever traveled off the beaten track and gone to some made scone place like, say, Tajikistan or something?

I have booked a holiday with my amazing beautiful girlfriend to Budapest this summer, but would like to branch out next summer.

Have you been anywhere that shocked people when they asked? Not the usual Spain or Portugal etc. Any suggestions, dos, don't ??

Love to hear your stories. I am planning Tajikistan and Xingjiang in west China and Ürümqi next year.

So folks, wanna share your globe-wandering stories?

somwhere you'd go for the banter, or the ha ha. For the craic like. I was chatting a lad I know today who just got back from his hols. "Where'd you go?" says I. "Iraq" says he. Riiight. And he was. Just back from his hols in Iraq. And he's Nigerian. Go figure. "Why'd ya go there" says I. " I thought it sounded interesting and it was cheap" he says. So now. I'd say that's a mad scone place altogether.

Vietnam is probably the most adventurous I've been to. Ho Chi Minh City is quite like Western cities, Hanoi is a bit different though. Some of the rural areas are quite cool.

Women in Montenegro are ridiculously good looking. I'm not one for stereotypes, but when looking at every single women passing makes you violently sad, then you know you can probably talk in generalisations.

"Around 1984 a Copenhagen-resident biker gang called Bull**** arrived in Christiania and took control of a part of the cannabis market. Violence in the neighborhood increased and many Christianites felt unsafe and unhappy with the new residents"

    sounds like a veritable eden!
