    Picked this one http://www.toys.ie/10ft-Trampoline-Safety-Skirt-!101958-prd.aspx?qwSessionID=658afe28-072d-4a63-add8-751c25a9ba5c

Then entered the code at the start of this thread...

Sorry folks, this is only the skirt for the trampoline which I found out to my embarrasement when the missus rang me to say a small box arrived from an post... :(

  • Registered Users Posts: 2,716 ✭✭✭brightkane

That seems to be just a safety skirt and not an actual trampoline

  • Registered Users Posts: 2,321 ✭✭✭sham69

    tell me about it.
it just arrived at the house and the missus just rang me to call me all the names under the sun... Fool, feckin eejit etc.

It was indeed just the skirt for the trampoline.
    Kids are devestated.
I am going to have to buy the trampoline to go with it now...
I really should read descriptions more carefully..
Just got a whopper gas bill on top of it all.
    WHat a great day :)

    Its cool,
I laughed myself once I realised..
Missus gave me an awful time but in fairness I would do the same if she made a mistake.
I am buying online for over 20 years, you'd think i'd know better :)

If you ever need a skirt for a trampoline you know where to come :)

Has anyone tried to use this code instore?

  • Registered Users Posts: 11,174 ✭✭✭✭B.A._Baracus

Pity you can't buy video games online from Smyths. Would of been a great bargain.

  • Registered Users Posts: 561 ✭✭✭clogher71

It cannot be used in store. The idea is you buy something in store, when you have paid in store they give you a voucher telling you about the online discount and how you can redeem it etc, so the idea I guess is you will make a second purchase, plus you have paid 'full' price for the item/items you bought in store.....

Damn them. The kids have €60 here in gift vouchers, which Smyths won't accept online, it would be nice to combine the discount with the vouchers and go for something really good/big/ridiculous. :D
