My friend has a Macbook Pro.
When on the internet using Safari adds constantly pop up from the bottom of the screen covering about 25% of the page. This happens every time he opens a new page.

    Any suggestions?

    I tried
    Safari> Preferences > Security>
Block Pop up Windows is ticked.

Interesting. If that is the case how should I resolve this?

If it is Yontoo and the OS is Snow Leopard or higher do an Apple Update.

Either way you should manually uninstall. Check through the Mac related portions of these links

This is how you get it.
