is it just me or does the lineup look terrible this year? think I'll wait for 2014.

though seeing Sabaton live might be cool

Yeah, there's only maybe 4 or 5 bands so far that I'd really consider seeing.

Yes. One band that I would love to see come and play a show in Dublin.

Will buy the ticket with next months paycheque if there's any tickets left.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,245 ✭✭✭old gregg

Just mercilessly buggered my screaming credit card to score a ticket. No way can I afford this right now but when your favourite band comes to town what can you do.

That perfectly describes me. This will actually be our 3rd father and son LoG gig together. Thankfully he can buy his own ticket this time :)

A google search consisting of "lamb of god belfast" gave me this link:

    http://www.limelightbelfast.com/events.php?&actID=55&venue=Limelight+1

Reading the link tells me they play at Limelight 1 in Belfast @ August 12th.

I think he meant Tesseract and were they also playing with LOG in Belfast.

Finally got my ticket. Had been meaning to for ages. Tesseract supporting should be good. I love One, so it'll be interesting to see them live.

Another one to add to the list for this year!

One would imagine that if Tesseract are coming over to Dublin that they would include Belfast. Though it'll probably be dependent on the promoter. Just check the promoter of the Belfast date as MCD announced the news today.

Very pleased at this latest TesseracT development

TesseracT don't really set the mood for LoG,still over the moon they're supporting.

While I get where you're coming from, they're not a million miles apart in terms of the kind of music that they play and those who listen to them though.

I would imagine that plenty of people have followed a progression similar to:
    LoG - Gojira - Meshuggah - Tesseract?

    LoG - Gojira - Meshuggah - Tesseract?

This would be one of the best line-ups ever for a gig.

Re listening to Tesseract's latest in preparation. I wasn't as mad on it when it first came out, but am enjoying it a lot more today.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,245 ✭✭✭old gregg

Watched the LoG streamed set from Bloodstock last night. Looking forward to tonight even more now :) Not sure I'll get to Dublin in time for beers before but if you see a guy in his early 50's with long hair at the gig then do say hi and mayhap we'll catch one after.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 48,990 ✭✭✭✭Lithium93_

Tried watching Lamb Of God's set at Bloodstock, but the stream was skipping on me every 20 minutes, all i got were the first 3 songs of the set (Desolation, Ghost Walking & Walk With Me In Hell)

That was fun...although a bit of a short Imo.

Did LoG play the same set list from last night's Bloodstock show or did they change the set list around
