I opened this thread looking for some fancy new Simonly phone, never heard of the brand but figured as I was already on the €35 package it'd be worth it
For what it's worth, I've been on Tesco Mobile for over a year now, their €35 package is fantastic, my only issue is that 1890 numbers you have to pay, I tend to just get whatever the local number is and ring that.
For those wondering about their coverage, they are a resale of the o2 network, so if you get o2 coverage you have Tesco coverage. The wife and I are both on the €35 package, we get the clubcard points back and claim back money back on the Electricity bill.0 -

They've only started offering some decent deals recently, I think 3 were the first company to start offering decent deals (O2, Vodafone still offer rubbish deals imo).
Though if you think Irish deals are cheap, you want to see UK pricing!!0 -

What kind of rates are you facing? I've been on this for the past while as well and it's perfect for me. 15gb of data and practically unlimited calls to mobiles and landlines. Plus their super cheap international rates.
And no contract.
Using with a HTC one S that I got recently for 160 euro (another bargain alert thread) so very happy.
And tesco's network is far superior to that emobile crap. E mobile's coverage down the country is terrible. And their CC is the worst I've ever experienced. Complete nightmare.0 -

I still reckon that Tesco works out better overall with the out of bundle charges being much cheaper like 2c/Mb data compared to 9c for Lyca and 1c/minute UK landline calls compared to 5c for Lyca. I suppose it comes down to each individual examining their own usage and making a call on where the balance lays.0 -
