A healthy belly or fat belly? If fat, do you mean fat belly or beer belly? There's different ways of getting rid of it, depending on what kind of belly it is.

How do you get rid of a beer belly :P??

You could try drinking less beer.

If that doesn't work, try drinking more.

You can drink beer and have a flat stomach, watch your diet and exercise.

And on the flip side. I don't drink beer/alcohol and I have a belly.

weight loss is 80% diet, 20% exercise..the best exercise you can do to keep a belly off is to walk away from the kitchen..

I have friends who are Macedonian and they drink beer by the gallon and have tummies like draining boards.

    Its not just beer.

I was once in Tesco with a couple to buy stuff for a barbecue, and they spent more on olive oil than I spent on scotch.

They also eat alot of salads. Not sure if there is a connection.

    Edit:

First starting to get weight in that area around 17. Swapped booze for dumb bells for about 6 weeks last year and dropped a few inches on my belt and added one on my arms. Moved back to Ireland to more familiar food, and more expensive gyms and put a bit back on. Going back to the gym in a couple of weeks. Never felt so healthy as after an hour of lifting healthy stuff, and didnt sleep so well either.

Interesting you added "entered the workforce", because I started work for fulltime when I was 16/17, for 4 months and thats when it started to develop for me.

While I was in college I was playing rugby for club and college, using college gym and martial arts. Once I started shift work I lost my usual gym buddies and could not commit to team sports.
I know that I need others with me to train well and am not disciplined enough to go it alone.
By the time circumstances changed and I was back to regular hours and training schedule the weight was on and injuries began.
All my own fault of course, just that hindsight is 20/20

    When I was 19 I grew a Bulmers belly.

Now I'd rather drink toilet duck than cider.
