Can you guys suggest a free app that will convert a bunch of files to MP4.

I am currently using Handbrake, it works great but having to load up each file means I have to be at the mac.

What I would like is to select a folder and let the app do its thing.

I want to covert files so I can transfer them to my iPad2.

    Thanks

I thought there was a feature in Handbrake whereby you can queue up the files you want to convert??

What version of Handbrake are you using because queueing IS a feature?
The queue is cached to disk
may be a hint that you don't have enough spare disk space.

Without trying to be obvious, did you import them into iTunes and let that convert them into m4v?

It's always been a part of iTunes, just go under the File menu and add to library shift-select the files you want to convert and let it do its magic.

    Miro Video Convertor

The newest version does batch conversions and its very Fast and has a really nice interface, designed specifically to output to Tablets, Phones, Apple TV's etc...

Doesn't work. The App has a "no entry" sign on it. :(
