    Hi lads,
Im looking to start high bar ATG squatting as I currently am doing low bar and i feel its putting a lot of stress on my lower back.
Anyway I have been looking at the adi powers on http://www.nerlinger.com/
I take a size 46 in asics and size 11uk im all my other runners.
Would anyone that has these be able to give me an Idea of what size would be suitable?
And also I would like to hear how you find them Im hoping they will allow me to hit extra depth on my squats.
    Thanks in advance John

I have 11 in Aasics too.

I bought my first pair of WL shoes (power perfects) in size 11 & they were a bit too big.

Have my adistars in size 10.5 & they are v snug & fit v well.

You wouldn't leave them on for hours like.

As for depth, they will help but if you have mobility issues in the ankles, you'll need to work on them.

Thanks I think I'll go for the size 10.5. I have quite a wide foot how do you find the spacing in the toe area of the adipower.?

I'm a size 10 in all footwear and bought the adipowers in size 10. I am wide fitting and I find them fine. Better fit then the power perfects

I'd have quite a wide foot too & there's no issue with spacing in the toe area.

If you're in the Dublin area, I could nearly let ya try them on.

OP I find the sizing to be pretty close to the Adidas lace up type "tennis" shoes. Try on a pair of sambas or similar and see how you find them. My only gripe is the laces are a bit short, I prefer to lock lace them so they are tight without a knot digging in but it leaves me with a very short amount of lace to actually tie.

Just jumping on this, I'm a size 12 normal and I have a pair of adidas gazelles that fit fine that are a 12. Would I be golden to go with a 12 for the PP 2's?

    I'd possibly go 11.5

Power Perfects are a tight fit so I wouldn't go down a size

What should one expect to pay for a pair of these fine shoes?

Good advice there on trying on a pair of addidas runners! :)

    €100 for power perfects

    €170 for Adipowers

I'm still debating whether the aid star are worth the extra 70 :)

I'm just going to stump up and get them IM always like this regretting spending extra but when I have the thing I'm usually glad I got them. Now to get the weights up on the high bar squats and not look like a tool squatting 80 kg Ha ha appreciate the reply

Whats the big diff between the 2 out of interest?

Power perfects have an EVA foam sole so may eventually compress or break down over the years I guess. Adipowers have a rigid TPU sole so no compression at all and lighter than the older wooden soles
