How To View Photos In Windows 8

    Hi guys i hope you can help me.

    im running windows 8 and have a problem. i have downloaded my wedding photos in a zip file that has close on 2000 photos in it. however i cant wee the images only icons, is there a way i can change the icons to thumbs?

    it takes ages to go through them to find the ones we want

    you won't be able to see the images in the zip file

    extract the file to a folder then windows should read in each file and save a small copy of it to image.db file that holds the previews


    multimedia files don't compress well , the only reason to zip is keep them in one place, but remember if that zip file gets damaged then you could loose them all.

    the baked-in Photos app works too. You can also grab Live Photo Gallery for free which is a real solid organizer.
