Well finally filled a lifelong dream, took the plunge and chartered a boat last Saturday. Had booked a small 6m pontoon type boat but on the day they gave us a much larger and more stable cat. Came with a lovely near new 200Hp Honda outboard. Sadly my camera died soon after leaving Havelock but we spent an amazing day…

Well finally filled a lifelong dream, took the plunge and chartered a boat last Saturday. Had booked a small 6m pontoon type boat but on the day they gave us a much larger and more stable cat. Came with a lovely near new 200Hp Honda outboard. Sadly my camera died soon after leaving Havelock but we spent an amazing day crusing a lovely region of New Zealand known as the Marlborough Sounds. Well worth a visit if you ever happen to visit these shores...

She's not the prettiest craft at all but comforts of a toilet and dry cabin to shelter from the sunshine in were greatly appreciated!
