Official Boards Fantasy F1 2013

After a tumultuous pre-season, the boards fantasy F1 has found a new home at racing-leagues.co.uk

Although the rules are similar to last years competition, there are some significant differences. Below is a quick overview of what you'll need to enter:

3 drivers
1 engine
1 constructor
1 home race (points scored here are doubled)

Throughout the season you can make seven changes to your team, including driver, engine and constructor.

Changing the order of your drivers (i.e. swapping your first and second driver) is free

First register at:

Then create your F1 team and finally click the link below to join the boards F1 league:

The link is from the automated invite emails, if you have any trouble getting in, pm me your email address and I'll send the invite manually

As not all team owner names will match up with boards names, please post your team name and team owner in this thread. As defending champion, my team name remains unchanged:

Last years last place team The 1KERS are back. Anything, literally anything, is an improvement from last place of last year. Could this be my season to get first place? I doubt it, so maybe last place for the second season in a row. At least Im consistent!

How slow am I!! I never got the double entendre in your team name. I just saw it as KERS. I guess it was only when I said the name out loud and not in my head it became obvious.

No good I'm afraid. Read everything in the first post about how to join the boards league too, and I'm still stuck.

Try logging into racing-leagues in one tab and then open the link above in a new tab.

The league should then show up my leagues section in the leagues section.

If you are still struggling PM Mudskipper with your e-mail address and he will add you manually.

I had the same issue. I needed to be invited! You need to send MudSkipper (league admin I think?) your email and he will add you in

Looks like they've been adding some join options, the original way to join is still there... log into the site and then follow the below link:

The password option is new, to use that follow this link to the boards league

and join by using password: boardsf1

Also new is the option for the league manager to invite teams directly, you'll need to pm or post a direct link to your team.... which can be found only by logging in, viewing the public league, finding your team and following that link... e.g. for my team it is

http://www.racing-leagues.co.uk/game/f1/analysis/?tid=1410

The ?tid=xxx bit is important, without it the site will re-direct me to my own team

Edit: Was going to put the new join methods also in first post but wont let me edit anymore...... any chance a mod could do it for me?
