Have just been diagnosed with a hiatus hernia and prescribed zoton. I would rather manage it as much as possible through diet and exercise if possible.

How have you managed the symptoms of a hiatus hernia and if possible without mainstream medication?

Follow your doctors advice first and foremost.

    Losing weight, cutting down on
Coffee and reducing stress are the big ones. Find out what foods give you reflux and avoid them. Common ones for me are bread, sausages and bananas.
