    Ok so I'm a male, 33yrs old, 5'8 and currently weigh 69kg.

This time last year I weighed 81kg and didn't have a great diet.

Breakfast consisted of either a scone or sausage/hash brown from local shop. Lunch was usually a chicken fillet roll or something similar. Dinner mostly wasn't too bad, stir fry etc. But I ate too many takeaways, Indian, Chinese etc.

So I made the decision to try and eat a bit healthier and lose some weight.

As i mentiond above I have lost approx 12kg in the last year but I am wondering if my current diet is actually good or not or am I actually eating enough.

So here is what I currently eat in a typical day:

    Breakfast:
40-50g porridge with about 250ml low fat milk and 2 tablespoons of honey
Cup of coffee with milk and 1 sugar

    Snack mid morn(not every day):
    2 mandarins

    Lunch:
Salad of lettuce, tomato, pepper, coleslaw, couscous, pickled onions, potato mash(sometimes) and 2 boiled eggs. Some days I substitute the eggs with a tin of tuna or a few slices of ham.

Cup of tea with milk and 1 sugar.

    Afternoon:
Cup of coffee with milk & sugar and a purple snack.

    Dinner:
Chicken/beef stir fry with rice/noodles/baby spuds
Homemade Lasagne with baby spuds and side salad of lettuce & coleslaw
Fish, spuds and some veg, brocolli usually.
Soup n salad the odd time.

    Supper:
Cup of tea, milk & sugar and a few digestives!

First off I don't eat enough veg nor drink any water. And for someone who jogs a few times a week and with a bit of hurling training too, this is not good.

There might be the odd bag of sweets thrown in there aswell. Overall I think it's ok but I'm concerned it's not enough.

    What do you guys think?

    Thanks
    Bull.

Put it into a calorie counter like myfitnesspal and see how much it comes to.
Work out how many calories you should be eating a day from the stickies and then go from there.

    Weigh your food.

nobody can tell if youre eating enough unless you tell them how much youre eating.

working in grams or lbs, not portions.

how much chicken is in your stir fry? 150g? a whole 4.5 kg chicken?

Once you have weighed all your food input it into a food tracker like Stench Blossoms suggests.

Then you need to eat 1825 calories a day to lose weight, (your bodyweight in lbs, 152 times 12)
First off I don't eat enough veg nor drink any water.

I think youre eating a decent amount of veg, and you can drink more water, but the tea youre drinking still is a mug of water. You can always do more of both with no real side effect. just don't overdo it

Youre eating too many sugars, minimise that by taking it out of your tea, avoid biscuits and occasional bags of sweets

i think you could also do with more fat in your diet.
