    Hey folks
Just wondering what you guys think of fat burners,
I seem to be hearing a lot more people are including them as a supplement these days,
    Are they safe ?
For instacne if you where fit enough but looking to shed the last few pounds before a holiday or somethng are they safe to take ?
Personaly i prefer going the naturally way and cutting calories and working harder on some high interval training,
Just wondering what people on here think of them

Are these the ones that give you palpitations and sweats, or the ones that give you oily farts?

The human body is a fat burner. Give it less to eat than it needs and it will burn fat. Simples.

I'm trying thermobol at the moment and to be honest apart from suppressing my appetite I don't see any difference. Sure the drop in body fat could be due to me eating less.

I tried Animal Cuts by UN.

All I lost was a few pounds sorry euro.
In all seriousness anything I lost was due to the huge amount I was sweating - both before during and after working out.

I am stupid enough to try anything, so if someone tells me something really works I will try it, but these don't.

Waste of money and generally bad for you, there is no quick fix.

All you need is a calorie deficit, lift heavy stuff and throw in some METCON’s.

Aren't they generally just made of caffeine?

Some fat burners do work and are proven to increase basal metabolic rate / increase fat loss over a placebo group etc. but to honest, get your diet in check and you'll be fine. Run a calorie deficit, train hard, eat well and sleep. You'll see the body fat fall off.

    Hope this helps,
    Oisín

the effect is at most so so so minimal it will be unoticable.

main ingredient in most is a high concentration of caffeince so save your wallert and have 2 double espresses instead??

If they had any discernable effect, we wouldnt have an obesity problem globally. ;)

I was actually using the one you get in pharmacies...the 24/7 one...i lost 5lb in 2wks...BUT i was also on a serious workout plan and also eating super healthy...80% of a weightloss programme is around food...the green tea in the tablet supresses appetite and the brown tablet speed up metabolic rate so u burn fat faster. i would recomment taking them for the first month to get ur head in the game...then just continue your gym routine and get a good protein on the go! If you dont workout or have a great diet dont bother cos you'll get fat!! My friend did it the "the lazy" way and gained 2lbs in a week....
