After their Historic win against the English and claiming their first triple crown, Irelands womens team will face France this Friday in what could well be the tournament decider.

A win on Friday against France would leave only an away trip to Italy standing between them and an Historic first Grand slam for the womens side.

The game will be streamed live on rte.ie however tickets for the game are only €10 for an adult or €20 for a car of 4, for what should be a cracking game with a great atmosphere.
Tickets for the game on Friday, priced at 10 euro for adults and 5 euro for children, OAPs and students, can be purchased in advance from the following outlets:

    - JR's Newagents in Main Street, Ashbourne from Saturday

    - Ashbourne Leinster League game on Sunday at the Milltown House Grounds in Ashbourne from 2pm onwards

Tickets will also be available from Monday onwards in Allrooms, 31, Upper Liffey Street, Dublin 1 (beside the side entrance to M&S at the Jervis Street Centre).

You will also be able to pay at the gate - adults €10, car of 4 people €20, students, kids and OAPs €5.

The Old Belvedere Women's team run a supporters' bus from Dublin to Ashbourne for 20 euro which includes transport to the game and entry to the match.

There are two collection points: Old Belvedere RFC, 28A Anglesea Road, Dublin 4 and Jury's Hotel, Custom House Quay, Dublin 1.

Please contact Jenny to book your spot on the supporters' bus now: jennysynnott@yahoo.com.

There is plenty of car parking (700 spaces) in Ashbourne RFC. The club would encourage people attending to car pool or if coming from the city there is 103 bus that leaves Beresford Place every 20 minutes with a journey time of 30 minutes.

There is will be a bus running from Ashbourne to the club every 15 minutes from 6.30pm onwards on match night, and this is only a five-minute journey. There are also taxis available in the main street (Kelly's pub).

From Dublin Airport there is also a regular bus service, the 109 which will drop you in the town centre.

If you are bringing a bus to the game, we would appreciate a call in advance so arrangements can be made. Please call Rod at 0862855946.

For more directions, please check the website: http://www.ashbournerugby.ie/?page_id=761.

    8-5

EDIT: 10-5 Conversion from the touchline.

That stream is brutal , at least for me anyway and I am on a 18mbps connection:mad:

Millar seems to have a good bit of pace. A couple of nice breaks from her.

I don't think its too bad. I've only got a 3G dongle and it reasonably ok for me.
You can select the quality in the bottom right corner, try in on High quality.

Lack of on screen score is pretty annoying.

Try Ireland 10-10 conversion to come!

Great start to the second half. Constant pressure.

EDIT: Straight through 12-10 to Ireland. Great stuff.

Penalty Ireland in front of the posts very Kickable.

    EDIT: ****e off the post!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,768 ✭✭✭eyeball kid

Pity, but the penalty was the right decision there. They've gone to the corner a bit too often when the line out was not functioning at all.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 10,407 ✭✭✭✭justsomebloke

    Penalty was missed

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,286 ✭✭✭ankles

They don;t stop clock for stoppages. looks good though

    Brilliant news by all accounts.

Not counting chickens as the Italian team is strong this year but a very realistic chance of a slam here
