Boylesports are offering a no deposit needed 20 euro free bet.

Follow this link and register an account, then send an e mail to care@boylesports.com with your user name and the title ''Sportsnewsireland'' to get a free 20.

Now I know many of ye already have an account, so don't go opening one in your friends' names or anything. ;)

Who are you kidding - a bookie doesn’t give anything for free?

A nice carrot to get a few more hooked and ready to be fleeced.

Happy days. How long does it take for the free bet to go into your account after the email is sent?

Is it alright if you have more than one account from the same household?

You should be fine, 3 of us in my house have accounts with Paddy Power. I'd say Boyles would be similar

It's really slow for some reason, looks like it's loading the main page but brings you to a registration page. Try again

Sent it off anyway. The mother noticed William Buick has only one mount in the 4.30 she hopes it comes through before 4.30.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 9,213 ✭✭✭Backstreet Moyes

I got an email confirming my request was sent. But also got an email with a link saying. I did not bother with that because the mother already had a password when setting up the account or do you have to bother with that.

Welcome to Boylesports Customer Support Portal. Please follow the link below to choose a password, and we will log you in right away. Once logged in, you will be able to view and track all of your recent interactions with our CS department.

The mother just got an email confirming the free bet is in her account. She is going to wait until Cheltenham to do it.

Mother and Gf decided to take up gambling for Cheltenham. They both got their €20 free bet approved. The uncle is just signing up himself as he loves gambling but doesn't have an online account. Does anybody know if these can only be singles bets and if their is a special requirement before withdrawing. Anybody going for anything mad or just a decent single to hopefully build up money.

The uncle suggested €3*€2 doubles + €11 treble on Sam Winner 4/1 Our Conor 4/1 and First Lieutenant 4/1. I told him to wait until FL is confirmed in the Ryanair.

Girlfriend said she is doing a single on Cotton Mill whichever race he goes for.

Im thinking of putting the €20 on Super Duty.

My friend put his 20 on Brady's horse that won at Downpatrick today at 8/1. He is going to stick 20 on Houblon Des Obeaux for the RSA and my friend will go in to the shop tomorrow to withdraw in person

I just got confirmation on my free bet - yay!

I'm not good at betting. I'll put it this way - the last time I got a free bet (€10 from Paddy Power), I put it on Jedward to win the Eurovision... My logic was it was free money so might as well try to earn a lot on bad odds than a little on good odds. I know - terrible logic. :P

Does anybody have any recommendations for something to put my shiny new €20 on tomorrow? Probably low risk would be good, 'cause I'm poorer than I used to be, and I would love to actually win a bet for once!

I'd pop it on Son Of Flicka e/w for the Coral Cup at 14s. Has been plotted for the race all year having won it last year and is definitely on a good mark. You'll be guaranteed to get a good run for your money and I'd be surprised if he didn't at least make the frame.

He's my biggest ante-post bet by a distance.

You may want to pop on chat and see if you can go e/w with the free bet or does it need to be win.

Is it singles only? If so I might put it on Jezki 3/1 w/o My tent or yours

    Painfully slow.
That must have taken an hour. They really make you work for it.

Anyway, job done at least. Thanks.

Would it matter if 3 people from the same address opened one up but all different emails, eg, my bro , sis, and dad?

Hey - sorry, I just saw your message. I emailed them that evening (the 6th) and got a response pretty much straight away. I genuinely didn't have an account with them before - not that I'm implying anything about the number of family members who've started betting recently... :p

Cheers. Like I said, I really don't have a clue (I had to Google "Coral Cup", "e/w" and "ante-post" - and I'm still not sure I'm any wiser! Feck it - will go for Son Of Flicka. Sure, it's free money - it's not like I'm going to be worse off either way! Thanks! :)

Just a question. If I'm putting my €20 bet on e/w, does that mean I should bet €10 and that will be doubled? (Wikipedia tells me they double the amount you bet in e/w, rather than halving the odds.)

    Cheers!

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 18,335 ✭✭✭✭UrbanSea

10 each way will cost you 20. 10 euro goes on the win at 14/1

10 goes on the horse to be placed at 1/4 the odds so 1/4 of 14 x 10
