It's on sale at the minute, I have reserved one as I will be buying the switch, just wondering if it is decent or not.

Good reviews on the Argos UK website.

I picked one up this evening and I'm happy with it so far. It's not a hardshell (you can click the joycons when it's closed for example), but it should still provide some protection in a bag or drawer.

Definitely worth €6, not €19 IMO.

It's the one I have. It's perfectly fine - good storage room and decent protection for the Switch. At that price it's a no-brainer.

SNK Heroines on Amazon Italy for €19.29 (€24.53 delivered), Spanish cover might put many off, but still seems a good price. Hope this isn't another pervy game. :o

And just in case it is..
    BlazBlue: Cross Tag Battle is on Base.com for £13.99 (€15.71 ) https://www.base.com/buy/product/blazblue-cross-tag-battle-day-one-edition-nintendo-switch/dgc-bctbns.htm

Switch is £250 on Amazon this morning.

There's one with Mario Kart for £290..99

  • Registered Users Posts: 16,506 ✭✭✭✭sligeach

Ya, here's the link. It's £249, works out at about €50 cheaper than the likes of Smyths and Argos.

Nintendo Switch - Neon Red/Neon Blue

    https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B01N4NBHPM

Still think there'll be a better deal on Friday and maybe next Monday, but they'll likely include games in a bundle.

I was in GS yesterday and I see that they have Starlink discounted on all formats to €55.
Not sure if this makes it a more attractive purchase, but surely it doesn't bode well for the latest attempt to sell people plastic crap.

Tempted to buy the Diablo bundle from simplygames but I don't like that it's download and not the physical copy. Are all bundles download version?

Pretty much. The D3 is definitely all digital to be downloaded

Last three switch bundles I bought have been digital codes with consoles too

All bundles are the download version, which is pre installed on the console. The game will be associated with the first Nintendo account logged into the console if I'm not mistaken.

That's definitely not the case in the three I've bought.

    2 x Mario Oddessey and a D3 bundle.

None of the above were preinstalled.

So no physical copy? I'm not sure I'd be keen on that, if I had to wipe the console etc. I guess the game is gone with it?

The game is tied to your account.

Does the eStore normally do anything for Black Friday? Can't remember if they did or not for last year.

For anyone with small kids or small enough to fit into it themselves :D

The Nintendo ROBOT Labo kit is reduced from 79.99 to 19.99 in Gamestop.

Very limited stock too but an absolute bargain for a kids Christmas present.

How do you get credit for the Russian eShop ?

No worries. Id ring and reserve if you can as they had four in William Street Limerick and three sold before they put them on the shelf while I was there.

The box gives a 'big present' feel :D

This may be a bargain on Amazon UK soon, but Starlink starter pack is $39.99 on Amazon.com
We should keep an eye out on the UK site.
