bicycle on train to sallins?

I am looking to bring a bicycle on the train to sallins tomorrow. Does anyone know if this is possible on the commuter trains or just the inter-city ones?

What time and friom where?

The official line is:
Bicycles are permitted on Commuter and DART services between 10:00 and 15:30 and after 19:00 Monday to Friday

In practice it's down to to who sees you bringing the bike. I've seen trains on rush hour trains from Maynooth.
