Good man fergal, the light is on,
so can I ask on your thinking for a suitable paint for a simply clean up for the inside of a small tender, purely for aesthetics, so cheap and cheerful.....

Should of said, fibre glass, also could a dash of silica sand be added to the mix for a grip, but only on the floor..

Here are some marine ones http://www.marineparts.ie/paint-and-maintenance/paints/deck-paint/ Interdeck is good at €27.95 and you don't need a primer http://www.yachtpaint.com/LiteratureCentre/interdeck-info-usa.pdf I have heard of lads also using two part garage floor paint but I'm not sure if it will work out much cheeper.

You could also sand back pretty aggressively and slap on some gel coat, cheap fast and will last. Mix dry sand in or sprinkled on top. Sugar sprinkled over the paint produced dimples that are more knuckle friendly than sand. Rinse out with water when paint is dry or you'll have a fine sticky boat.

make sure to give the glass a nice rub with some sand paper before painting. I was silly enough to paint on a canoe without sanding and it took 6 weeks to set properly. I could actully rub it off after a few days but had to leave it for the 6 weeks for it to set.
