Green Moss on Trees

Folks,
Anyone know any good products for getting rid of moss on tree bark, trunks, branches, etc?
Like the moss growing on this attached birch tree photo in my garden.
I know some people don't mind it or like it but I wouldn't mind eradicating it.
It's on all the trees, be they apple, pear, cherry blossom.

Usually a sign of clean air in the area, personally I'd leave well enough alone as any chemicals used to remove it likely wont be great for the tree, and its not doing it any harm at all where it is.

Thanks for pointing out those resources. That RHS is a great resource. The control section of the RHS document said "There are no chemical controls for algae, lichens and moss on plants".
So I'll have to learn to like it.
