Hi, Just wondering would it be possible/the done thing to ask for TY work experience with say the Order or St.Johns for a week, would there be enough activity?

    Not really...

Those organisations would be active for a few hours at the weekend and maybe during the week and run by their volunteers.

why not just join your local unit and then maybe try do your work experience in the local fire station/ ambulance base etc

Depending on where you are you could do work experience in their HQ's potentially?

Figured as such poster #2 (can't multi quote on phone.

Tried them about HQ but nothing, rang ambulance service (HSE) directly and she said she'd call back. It's been a day waiting :( Thanks for the help though.
