Wanted to put up a post about tapout as it isn't mentioned anywhere on the forum as yet and I think its worth a mention. I've Recently cleaned up my diet and started Tapout XT and I have to say I love it. For years i've loved martial arts styled workouts tapout ticks most of the boxes. You won't learn a load of MMA(unticked boxes) in it but you will feel the fighting fitness and bodyweight coming down. I don't have the time for 6 workouts a week so break the 6 workouts in 2 weeks and I feel the same results. Ive come down by about 1st 8lbs in a month and a half(6 weeks of 3 workouts). Just wanted to mention it as loads of people go on about Insanity/PX90 etc but I've tried both and prefer Tapout. Insanity is way more boring and probably a bit off putting and PX90 is a bit too stop start for me. You need a band and a ankle band both I purchased from china for about €12. Worth a try particularly if your into Martial arts and just want to shape up a little more. :D

Without knowing anything about it, I'd assume it was a bit gimmicky, made up of pseudo fight moves. Maybe it's not of course, won't know till I have a look. Got a link to it?

This is the website for it; http://www.tapoutxt.com/

Quick look over, doesn't seem much different to the other programmes of it's type, like p90x or insanity.

Hash code B3A6734E2C04F00B8484C15D6897334A138E5FF7 should find it for you. I prefer it to the above Dravokivich but thats probably just me. There the same idea I just found TXT much more enjoyable. I was looking for TXT2 but I don't believe its available in Ireland as yet!

I'm glad someone posted up about this program. I've been doing RushFit and its excellent so I was lookin around for similar programs and saw Tapout. It looks the business . I've read comparsions with p90x and Insanity and it seems Tapouts layout is similar to P90x. This mma workouts are really popular due to the amazing fitness levels of mma fighters. As long as you understand you won't be able to jump into the octagon after 90 days but for the fitness levels these program's offer , its worth it.

OP - did you buy from the tapout website if so how long did it take for it to arrive. If not where did you buy ? Thanks

I was also looking at P90x 2 . It looks great but how the f@@k could you listen to Tony Horton again. He is a complete tool I had enough of his stupid humor and flirting with that blonde woman in P90x. God she wasn't even that attractive .

    Thanks

I didn't buy it SouthEastG. But I plan on buying the XT2 when it becomes available in Ireland. For some silly reason there is no allowable posting option outside the US or Canada for any of the tapouts. Let me know if you find a way. To be honest I can't understand it. TBH Tony Horton did my head in too. I didn't try rush fit as yet I'm happy sticking with TO for the minute. Out of Insanity, PX90 and TO, TO was the only one I never became bored of.

Thanks for the reply, it's ridiculous you can't buy from the tapout website. It's the same with the beachbody programs. I was looking at the body beast program which you could pick up on done deal but you can't buy any of the supplements as they won't ship to Europe. I got RushFit when I was in America last year. Like you say you'd get bored of P90x and to a lesser extent Insanity but I still do the RushFit ones and never get bored.

I know some ppl are critical of these home workouts but for ppl like myself there ideal. If i was left to my own devices I'd either do way too much or not enough .

I ordered Tapout xt from eBay , should be here next week, didn't see tapout xt2 though .

I'm pretty sure you can get the beachbody workouts shipped to Ireland from the beachbody site.
My friend is a rep/bb coach in states if you want me to find out more.

    Thanks Dotcomdolly,
Ya I'm pretty sure you can order most of the beachbody stuff, it's the supplements for the body beast program they won't ship , they must be classed as pharmaceuticals or something. If you could enquire if he could ship them himself or if I could get them shipped to my brothers address in Nashville and then get it shipped to me.

Or if you ask him/her is there any substitutes I could use.

    Thanks
