    Crazy Submission.

    Ow! Hamstring gonzo.

Did he know that was going to injure him? Seemed like he knew it would from the interview. Not a nice injury.

Definitely going to end the fight though.

Great reffing by Herb Dean, most others would have stopped that

Is it me or does the main card have more potential than usual to be all one sided fights.

Delighted for him.Always had great respect after his dad died on the show.Coming back to win the series was legendary

I can't shake the feeling that awful things are about to happen to Brendan Schaub.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 2,970 ✭✭✭Lenin Skynard

I'm not much of a fan of Shcub but he seems to get knocked out so brutally. I'd say if it happens here again he'll get his marching orders.

Jesus, a ground battle, who saw that coming?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,202 ✭✭✭el dude

Dana is sounding more and more like Paul Heyman.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 2,970 ✭✭✭Lenin Skynard

One of those Clay Guida "wins"

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 82 ✭✭ATMatm

Johnson has been around for how long now and still can't defend basic doubles? Also Schuab is a supposed brown belt and couldn't pass the guard.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 536 ✭✭✭Ray Mond

Schaub is a piece of craP boring as **** would live him to fight a top heavyweight so he could get his head taken off

    Bad start for Mike.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 8,868 ✭✭✭Andersonisgod

    Stoppage definitely premature there.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 5,752 ✭✭✭Mr Blobby

    Early stoppage or not?

Didn't look like he was defending himself well.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 9,061 ✭✭✭leggo

Dunno, think Kos was pulling a bit of a shneaky one protesting at the end. Lawler had a good 5-6 unanswered head punches and Koscheck wasn't going anywhere until he let up. If it'd had gone on any longer, people would've complained that Herb Dean should've stopped it sooner.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,753 ✭✭✭CZ 453

Herb Dean potentially lengthened Josh his career there. If a fighter is seen to get a bad beating, it can seriously damage his career. I think he was that bit early but it was only going to end in tears for Josh after another 3 or 4 blows anyway.

Great performance from Faber but I still can't see him beating Cruz.

Yeah, he's in the Jon Fitch spot in the Bantamweight division (well...the old Jon Fitch spot...) in that he's a solid No 3. Can easily beat the rest of the field, but is out of his depth against either Barao or Cruz.

Cruz injury is very serious. He has a 6 to 9 month recovery from december 2012...that would take it up to 2 years without a fight.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 8,868 ✭✭✭Andersonisgod

Lyoto for the win here and hopefully another shot at the title.

Or 30 seconds, if your name is Adrian Peterson.

Head says Machida, heart says Hendo.

    exactly the same here

Like both fighters but Hendo more, one of my all time favourites

    1st rd 10-9 Lyoto

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,753 ✭✭✭CZ 453

    19-19

Very poor fight so far. Too cautious of each other. It'll end up being a win by default.

    20-18 Lyoto

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 9,061 ✭✭✭leggo

Pretty **** first two rounds tbh. More like a staring contest than a fight.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,753 ✭✭✭CZ 453

    Draw or barely Machida.....POOR

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 11,960 ✭✭✭✭scudzilla

I have it 29-28 Lyoto, but how the judges score that fcuk knows

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,202 ✭✭✭el dude

Why having this fight as anything other than a five round fight was utterly ****ing stupid.

    29-28 Lyoto.

Did you want another ten minutes of this barn dancing?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 9,061 ✭✭✭leggo

Here's hoping UFC apply a bit of cop-on and don't give Machida a LHW title rematch off the back of this. He's been dominated by Jones already and that was, frankly, appalling. Nobody wants to see that ****.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,202 ✭✭✭el dude

Lyoto by split. Deserved. Lyoto's style and Dan's power, that was always on the cards, especially with it only being a three round fight. Feel cheated but not because of the fighters, should have gone two more rounds.

Tbf Machida throws shapes very well.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 11,960 ✭✭✭✭scudzilla

Ah come on, they're playing No Doubt 'Just a Girl' in the arena!!!

I would laugh my cock off if Carmouche KO'd Rousey in the 1st, just for the look on Dana's face

Some upset if the Mouche won here....hope she doesn't though.

Hasn't Dana set a precedent for this before, promising the winner a shot, but was a crap fight so he rescinded the offer

This should go more than 1 round right?
