I'm aiming for Veterinary Medicine, points were 585 last year and I'm hoping for roughly 600/605 points in the lc. Here's the grades I'm aiming for:

Biology(HL) A1
Chemistry(HL) A1
English(HL) A1
French(HL) A1
Geography(HL) A1
Irish(HL) A1
Maths(HL) B2/B3

No pressure sure :cool:
Right so today I started at about 11.30 which is, as usual, about an hour and a half later than I wanted to start :P
I did about 4/5 Differentiation questions in my maths papers, I'm taking a fair bit longer than I'll have in the actual exam but I think I need to really get used to the type of q's they ask for before I get focused on timing.
I revised two sraith pictiuirs for Irish, aiming to know them word for word by the oral.
I revised two chapters in Chemistry, the atom and arrangement of electrons, grand.
For Biology I did bones/muscles and started on the defence system.
Made a plan for learning Geography essays, that took absolutely ages and I'm still not finished it :rolleyes:

Reasonably productive day today
I learned an isostasy essay for Geography this morning but I'll need to go over it a few times before I really know it. In the afternoon I revised a Soils q.
Finished my maths homework and started a bit of probability revision, I'll probably have to revise statistics too before I look at any exam q's.
I did some French listening for about an hour. Later in the week I think I'll learn a few idiomatic sentences after reading the Chief Examiners report on examinations.ie.
Learned a sraith pictuir and then went back over another 1.5
I did exam questions for chapters 2 and 3 in Chemistry, I'm reasonably happy I could get full marks on any questions on those topics now.;)

I've neglected English a bit this week, mainly because I never know what to study for it but I might start handing up extra work soon, I'll give my teacher a chance to finish marking the mocks first though.

May I ask how do you revise exactly? and when you said you revised a soils question in Geography, do you have sample answers prepared already? or did you just read it straight from the book?

In general I read things out loud over and over again, I just find it works for me, some people are different, then I'll usually do exam qs if it's something like Chemistry or Biology. For the soils question I wrote out the answer (3 A4 pages) from a revision book (by Sue Honan - not sure of the name of the book but it's full of sample answers) into my own handwriting. I knew it quite well about 3.5 weeks ago before my mocks so I just read it again out loud for an hour and now I know it again well enough to get full marks I'd say.
I generally prefer to write things into my own writing when I'm learning unless it's reasonably simple.

I watched 3 or 4 videos on integration last night, they were helpful so I might watch a few more next weekend.
I had a lot of homework today so
not much extra study was done. I managed to do a comprehension for French and started another and that was it outside of homework.
Hopefully I'll have less work to do tomorrow so I can do a bit more revision.
I might read over my isostacy essay before I go to bed just to refresh my mind.

Still waiting on a few mock results, but things have gone well so far

Fairplay, you seem so organised! How do you motivate yourself?!? I'm in 5th year and I REALLY want veterinary too! Equine all the way!! I told myself in September I was going to put my head down and work so hard in 5th year but of course I'm failing miserably From my xmas tests I got 595 but that's hardly an indication and I want at least 600 :L any suggestions? :P Hope you're pleased with the rest of your mock results
