    Must go to this!

Do you have any idea of how much tickets are for it? I cant seem to find anything about that.

No idea about the tickets, just seen it on their facebook page. Pretty cool that it's Belfast though out of all the other places they could have gone! A photo on the replica Iron Throne would be excellent :D

It says it's free to the public.

Edit: Is it just me or is the HBO website really horrible and slow to use?

Oh this is brilliant! I'm so glad it isn't in England since it's much easier to justify popping up to Belfast for a day.

And they're selling merch :D I better start saving.

This looks savage! I like how its interactive aswell, not just a display!

A picture of myself on the Iron Throne would possible be the greatest social media profile pic I can think of.

The greatest social media profile pic would require at least a little bit of originality.

Going by your posts you hadn't even heard of Game of Thrones up until 5 months ago. But some of your posts in the last month or two seem to suggest you have some role in the show. How is that?

I just hadn't posted on this forum up until about 6 months ago!

i cant wait for this. Ive already booked a hotel. Told the missus it was for a romantic weekend away and to head to the giants causeway....cant believe she feel for that.

Friends went to one in Toronto, it's not that expansive they said and only a few things there. Probably not worth making plans around.

If you do go to the giants causeway head for nearby ballintoy harbour, its a really nice spot and the place where Theon landing on the Iron Islands was filmed

haha I'm planning something similar. We are scheduled to be in Poland one of the weekends so we might fly to Belfast on the way home.

Ive heard the drive from Belfast can be VERY scenic...beautiful part of the country...it would be a shame to miss out on such a wonderful place, especially if yer flying from there...you have to sell it, but not get caught selling!

I was in the exhibit in New York over the weekend. I would agree that it is cool but not worth making plans around.

It was on 57th st in Manhattan. Was there for work, happend to see a link to it the night before. I queued for about 45 mins and was in the exhibit for about 45 mins. (arrived at 1020, inside the door at 1110, was outside again by 1210)

It was in a large room, divided by a display, with the Iron Throne at the far end. What was quite cool was that they took your pic on the throne, you got a postcard print of it, then within 3-4 mins you were able to email the pic to yourself using the 5-6 iPads they had on hand.

There was an archery game set for the Battle of the Blackwater.
About 4-5 glass cases of smallish props. (crowns.letters, daggers, fingerbones, quills, chains, dolls, coins, maps etc)
A large weapons display case. Some fan art and concept art for the series.
And 4 larger displays of costumes (The Wall, Lannisters, Stark, Danerys)

The place was packed with people taking iPhone pics so right up in front of the displays so I wasn't able to get many nice wide angle shots of the displays.

On a positive note I was able to answer some trivia questions and won myself a pack of playing cards and a Dragon projector mini torch (think bat light but with a dragon!)

    Pics can be found here:

Looks like a bit of fun!

I'll definitely try and head to this, There's plenty of real stuff around Belfast to go and see so it's not a lost trip even if the exhibition isn't worth it!

Yeah I've signed up for the updates too. Do you know if they just assign you a date, or can you apply for the one you want?

Supposed to get detailed information today, for those of us who have signed up for updates, on how to prebook. There's a limited number of tickets available day for booking.

No email yet. Anyone else got an email yet from them? Can only go on 2 dates so really anxious to get in early with my booking.

aye, same here, just entering details now.
    fingers crossed

    Plus:
A small number of walk up tickets will also be available each day - we'd encourage attendance at off peak times to avoid queues for these.
thats from the mail, so if youre local may be worth popping down to check availability

For anyone trying to register, you need a credit card to validate your tickets but there's no charge...

Site is obviously being absolutely hammered, it's crawling.

Anyone any clue how long it takes to go round it? Im thinking of heading up for midday- cant imagine its going to be more than 6 hours in there?
