    Official Preview
The road to WrestleMania continues tonight on WWE RAW from the Cajundome in Lafayette, Louisiana, with fallout from Sunday's Elimination Chamber PPV.

The focus of the show will be The Rock retaining the WWE Championship against CM Punk and the buildup to Rock's title defense against John Cena at WrestleMania.

It's been rumored over the weekend that WWE is planning a big Mardi Gras-style parade involving the University of Lafayette marching band performing to celebrate The Rock's win last night.

Jack Swagger, the #1 contender to the World Heavyweight championship, and his new manager Zeb Colter, will deliver a State of the Union Address to the WWE Universe.

Tonight will also be Chris Jericho's final WWE television for several weeks before he heads down under to Australia to tour with his band Fozzy. Jericho will return in early March to build up to a program at WrestleMania.

The advertised dark match main event is a tag team match featuring John Cena & Ryback vs. C.M. Punk & Dolph Ziggler.

Will hopefully be a entertaining show and we should see the seeds of more matches being set tonight.

Oh I would love if this is true
It appears that tonight's WWE RAW from Lafayette, Louisiana could feature the debut of
    NXT star Bray Wyatt
. He's specifically mentioned the city of Lafayette as the site of his debut. Back on November 26th, he tweeted:

"#RAW Ville De Lafayette Tick tock. Tick tock. Tick tock"

    This morning, he tweeted:

"Another days disappointment, another flight I didnt take. Ville De Lafayette makes the taste of iron go away."

With just over a hour to go, I am quite excited by tonight's raw, so many things could possibly happen, people returning, people debuting and the seeds for WM feuds being set.

or else come 4am we'll be fuming :D

Heres hoping we see some significant developments. My guess is the main developments will be in the Cena v Rock match, WWE must think everyone is just itching to see them face to face again

I'm afraid if it does be a triple threat, Punk will just be used to take to take the pin. With Cena winning the bashtard

    Punk vs Cena tonight

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,787 ✭✭✭Jayob10

a good swerve would be to put Taker into the Rock/Cena angle too.

Triple threat Taker/Rock/Cena would be fresh, and would also allow Taker some breathing space with both guys carrying the load

Cena giving Punk a sniff of headlining here is total BS, no way in hell is this believable

What a way to annoy the crowd in the building.

    ''Lets have a huge match!''

    ''Okay!........Next week.''

Except for the fact that Taker would have to win, the streak will never be broken and Taker won't work a full time schedule.

Don't you just love wrestling logic. I will put my WM shot on the line in a match for no reason and no gain for me. Stupid.

Absolutely stupid stupid unbelievable booking right there

Why on earth Cena would choose to give Punk another shot on his terms, its just silly and not very believable

Obviously a ploy to build Cena, the very fact they are still having him do this shows how they are still pulling out all the stops to win him some respect.

Someone should come out and cut a promo asking how the hell Cena let that happen, is it mental issues? :P

And not a mention of losing to the Shield last night either.

This Cena overcoming all the odds (even when he doesn't have to) is tiresome.

surely Cena could have told him to hold up as he was leaving, saying its tonight or not at all?

Booking needs to be somewhat believable in my opinion, that Cena would allow Punk a chance to take his spot and also on his own terms is frankly ridiculous.

Nothing to gain from it, other than "respect of the fans" which is something despite his best efforts, he has not been able to get en masse.

Should be a good match, Jericho is gonna get written off tonight, so a beat down is in store, possibly by ryback snapping and attacking him.
