Thought it'd be good to have a thread where we list the bookies offers or ones that are NRNB

Racebets are refunding ante post bets on the Champion if Hurricane Fly wins. Best one I've seen so far

Money back if My Tent or Yours wins. Fairly certain it'll be that. Was Sprinter Sacre last year

Any one know of the better bookies that offer specials for new accounts?

    Might be Simonsig

    Might be Simonsig

I think the only reason they did SS last year was because there was no shortie in the Supreme. They did Cue Card the year before. A Simonsig offer wouldnt apppeal to the mugs they want to attract with only Overturn and Fago in real opposition

Couple of people saying on Betfair that PP are doing their special on Hurricane Fly

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 2,666 ✭✭✭Howjoe1

    bump

haven't spotted much around? are the bookies cutting back on other years?

eg Boyles were during refunds on horses finishing 2nd last yr in certain races, this year it only applies if 2nd and beaten half a lenght i think:rolleyes:

Max bet was €15 for me to in pp on that double. Wouldnt mind but the price is barely enhanced anyway.

I remember last year Powers were giving even money on Big Bucks for new accounts through Facebook I think it was.

Doesnt seem to be anything like that this year anywhere.

I'd tell your brother to hang on until next Monday/Tuesday morning, as one of the online companies may run a promotion Cheltenham week they have done in the past.

    With Bet365, the free €200 has to be turned over 3 times before making a withdrawal. For example log €200 & be brave doing the following;

€200 on Simonsig & then you get your free €200 put that on H Fly & then of again with €200 on Quevega & have a bash then on Ponte Alexandre or whatever horses you choice just picking short priced ones.

    Hopefully, winner winner chicken dinner!

    Looks like it:

    http://www.bookmakers.co.uk/news/bookmaker-offer/back-long-run-at-101-for-cheltenham-gold-cup-on-wednesday/

I'll get what I can on each way & lay back the win part

Whats the general max stake they are taking? Is that just your restriction?

i opened a new account the other day for the jezki bet and im only allowed €10 win on long run.. Still was only putting on 20 so its not the end of the world.. Still a decent offer for the small punter

Odds Checker lists the bookies and their offers at the top of every list of entries. For example:
    http://www.oddschecker.com/horse-racing-betting/ante-post-racing/cheltenham-festival/cheltenham-gold-cup/winner

Tell your brother to be careful that he doesn't get his details mixed up with yours. For example, he'll need a different:
    • email address (easy)
    • mobile number (I assume he has one; otherwise tell him to get a burner)
    • credit card (I hope he doesn't share yours. His may also need to have a different postal address. MasterCard can be difficult to withdraw onto; if it is MC he may have to supply a bank account number to withdraw funds. I hope you two don't have a joint account)
    • IP address (Make sure your brother never logs in from your PC with his login. Tell him to go to the library or internet cafe).

I'd advise him to be slow and methodical on these points. He doesn't want to throw a grand on Baily Greene, see it win, then be unable to withdraw due to anomalies in the TnCs. If your brother is above board, or can explain why he got his details mixed up with yours, he should be ok. Otherwise, he may have to go thru' a protracted process, ie not online.

Don't think my a/c is restricted. Assume 11.49 is £10

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 7,669 ✭✭✭Colonel Sanders

£10 max for everyone on Long Run apparently

Just a publicity stunt from hills wouldnt lay an egg, they want to be seen to be laying bets but dont want to be actually doing it,Im ok with limits on specials but 10 quid is a joke should be anything up to 100 for regulars first come first serve.

SRFC tell your ''brother'' that PP have (pretty sure they still do it) a very good one, open a phone account (not sure if it works if it's done online) and do a fifty euro bet, your first 50 euro bet they will treble the odds.

I know its only 20 but it really is the same as finding 20 on the floor.

Presume if you sign up you will get €20 free matched for the bet. So you would get €60 back i presume. Although didn't fully look through the terms and conditions.

William Hill going Cue Card 5/1 at 9 am in the morning.

Bamburys are paying out on the second horse as a winner in the champion chase if he gets within 5 lenghts of Sprinter Sacre.

Free bet refund if you back Simonsig and he loses with Ladbrokes.

    Max €25 bet refund.

Might put a few of these on in various shops and if he loses, well, can use the free bets for the rest of Cheltenham..

Seems like a decent offer was this only for today. Might call down tomorrow not exactly going to make much but you can't lose.

Ye i can think of 4 ladbrokes in town. So could get €100 on at 4/7. So guaranteed free €57 if i'm making it out right.

Alternatively, was going to put €25 x 4 on Simonsig and then a €66 bet on Overturn at the best price.

    Overturn wins - 66 x 11/4 = €247.50 and 4 free €25 bets.

Simonsig wins - covers the loss on Overturn. Break even.

Must see if the offer is still there.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,016 ✭✭✭Hulk Hands

It's a free bet offer though. Your free bet has to win for you to get anything back. They are worst priced at 4/7 also

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 5 toonarmyboy

Just checked the Ladbrokes website there and it says its only an online offer.. I'm confused

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 18,335 ✭✭✭✭UrbanSea

This is a very good offer.

    Victor Chandler facebook:

Think I need to call a board meeting with the traders and marketing. They have just launched an offer for Cheltenham which is sheer madness! Apparently they think it's a good that If You Don't Win Money on The Supreme Novices' Hurdle BetVictor will refund your losses on the race up to £50 as a Free Bet!

Brian fahy bookmakers ,woodquay, galway city.brillant special this,if your horse finishes 2nd youll be paid out as the winner on all cheltenham races.

any idea what papers are doing which bets on the day? I found the sun and ladbrokes awesome last year. my bets were only ever a tenner anyway, so pick up 6 copies of the sun in the morning and i'd nearly 30 quid saved on bets for that day, sweet as a nut joey. The star and paddy power usually do 5er matched on a specific race, so the sun was better offer.

Skybet paying 4 places on the supreme

Not sure others will follow unless there's a big field
