From listening to friends, people seem to get contacts just because they get sick of glasses. For nights out too and if they are awkward for work!

Certain glasses suit a certain person and can make them look more attractive if anything. The rectangle glasses are made for some women for example.

I wear glasses for reading but tbh I look more of a nerd. Sad thing is they are the only type that actually suit me.

there's a trend of stunning girls wearing glasses emerging. What about lads, and munters. They get short sighted as well. Those girdles could be weaing a pair of penneys leggings and an Aran sweater and they'd stll look good.

The OP may have a point,

My wife looks less attractive when I ware glasses.......I have learned to counter act this by drinking several cans of Grafenwalder beer from iggle....I mean lidl.

Also taking of my glasses works, but i prefer the first option.....It's a balancing act really....."all credit to me"

The right ones can make good looking people look better...and ugly people look worse.

I wear them for reading/close work. I don't know if they make me look better, but they certainly make me look smarter.;)
