Hi All, I got 3 teeth removed in nov. I have a temporary denture in place while the screws are settling. I notice 50% of the people I talk to touch their mouth in the same place as I have the denture(Top middle and 2 teeth on my right). It obviously looks abnormal. Anyone else had this experience or am I the victim of a dentist who didnt bother checking the cosmetic effect of the denture

Don't be over-thinking this. You are bound to feel self-conscious about it, and so be more sensitive to what you perceive to be people's 'reactions'.

However, if you do feel that the appearance is objectively unsatisfactory, go back to your dentist.

Although since you have them since Nov last - how long more will you have to wear them?
