    "INVESTMENT"!

He doesn't realize that if you keep doing the same thing over and over the results will not change. This time around he is calling the stimulus an investment. What does it mean? More taxes, more spending in flipping green energy

So we go without food/jobs so he can put up another worthless pretty windmill when we have tones of coal in the W. Virginia mountains, more oil than we can ever need under our very own soil in the western states. He has put so many restrictions on the coal/oil industry they cannot operate, hence more jobs lost and gone to Mexico, South America and China. Nobody is lining up for the plastic electric caskets on wheels they call electric cars! Heck, even the illegal Mexicans are going back home!

He will be on TV here in the states, (it's 1:30p est now) and we have already had a preview today of what he will push forward and the new terms he is giving old bad ideas to his new term.

it means our owners have now squeezed us enough one way (austerity)and now wish to squeeze us another, this time by getting us to spend our way to prosperity

Not too sure about that, looks as if she's been dining at NJ governer Cristies diner! If she keeps feasting that way we may be looking for baby Clinton to step in her Momma's shoes ~ baby daddy would be dang proud! ;)

Get over it, you don't like Obama. But enough of your population is willingly to re-elect him that included the electoral colleges and the public majority.

By the way, it's not a bad idea to attempt to pursue some green energies and not to waste the remainder of the oil/coal in the world and wreck the environment at the same time. The oil industry is not a poor underdog being abused by the government and are perfectly capable of lobbying the government, which they do. Are you a global warming denier too? :pac: The future has to be invested in at the same time rather than entirely abandoning possible alternatives.

@Starling, son, where did you get your American map? Under my precious name is the word "Carolina", that is located on the east coast. it is no where near the wonderful southern state of Texas that is unduly chocked full of Latinos (bless their hearts).

Only spanish I speak is taco, enchaladas, and refried beans!

If that's your idea of tree hugging, (and also of having stirred up the tree huggers) you're fulfilling an awful lot of negative stereotypes about Americans.

You're an American. You're a Yank. It's just something that you'll have to deal with.

The 'rebels' or 'racist slave owners' got their asses handed to them. Why would want to continue to back this losing horse ? Are you interested in bringing back slavery ? Do you feel that people with dark skin are lesser beings ?

I've always been curious about people holding on to this 'rebel' mentality when they aren't rebelling against anything.

I'm having a large time with you new friends, but would it be possible for any conversation on the term Investment used for taxing me and spending more money that the middle class has left (what little of it is)? I don't really see this as an investment on my part....actually, they are steeling my money and putting it towards something I don't give a rats ash for!

I'll let you call me all the names you wish if you find out how I can keep my own money I work hard for! :)

I might be reading your post wrong, but would it not be true to say that the very people, humans with a different color, keep referring to it themselves,

not letting us (other humans) to get over it, it is used to seperate people of a different color (I try to use my words correctly so as not to offend),

but people of color which is not white will use it to stop debate or reason why they have not become part of the community, nothingmore while nothing less.

I most certainly don't fall into the category of a tree hugger. I recognise that we should adapt rather than wait for serious issues to develop. I repeat my question, do you believe that Global warming is real?

Check out what unrestricted industries has done to cities in China. Ironically, the Chinese governments wants to increase their use of green energies. Damn treehuggers!

    Ignorance is bliss Collard.....
