    I do it frequently, probably too frequently to be honest but only in the company of trusted pals or on my own (worryingly!) It's one of the great accents. I'm not talking Condoleezza Rice, I'm talkin' Sam Jackson mothafu.cka!

    I used to work in Subway and one evening, two huge black American guys came in, massive basketball playing looking guys. They were really enthusiastic about it with lots of exclamations and hand gestures. Me: Would you like cheese? Them: Yo girl you put some CHEESE on that bad boy". Me: would you like salad? Them: hell yeah salad, you know what IM talking about. I felt really under pressure to make some damn fine good sandwiches.

    Under pressure can be good, but in your case you need to look at the hamsterdam, that is all

    I once started a thread asking if people preferred chips/crisps or fries/chips with their burger and I got hounded that I should have used the crisps and chips.     First, it is a term to describe an ethnic group descended from the African diaspora. Unfortunately, when they dragged my ancestors here in chains, they didn't take the time to record their clan, tribe, and nation. Second, it was a term coined by the US Census Bureau.
