Brent comparing the celebrations of BOD vs Picamoles kind of sums up the woeful analysis on RTE

The french evidently didnt care about that game. I think how a team behaves around the field is very telling.

Its no better on BBC, we've gone from hopelessly biased pro-Scotland opinion to hopelessly biased pro-Wales opinion now.

Hahah, I suppose. I wish they'd drop the bad cop/good cop thing and just take on 3 Horgans.

The hack of the pitch after that scrum.
Could be a long night of resets

Rolland trying to take a piece of dirt back with him to Ireland...

Preistland and the words "form" should not go in the same sentence unless it is proceeded by the word "bad"

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 12,910 ✭✭✭✭whatawaster

It's just occurred to me that I rarely see a scrum turned 90 degrees nowadays. It seemed to happen loads when I was younger. Is there a reason for this?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,455 ✭✭✭Felexicon

Was that a drop goal attempt?

Can't beat it when they're at home.

France to win, but not by the 9 points handicap.

Is it just me or is this incredibly sh*te so far?

Looks like the Welsh saw that Clancy was the referee and are attempting the notoriously irish choke tackle at every chance.

No, it's just not you! Not the game so far to convince a SH viewer that the 6N is much cop. Hopefully Ire v Eng can save the day.

Based on what I've seen today so far, if Ire can win tomorrow, there is no reason not to expect a grand slam is possible.

This is dreadful fare so far.

    Beautiful kick by Biggar

    Both teams sh1te so far.

whats with the pitch, was it laid yesterday ffs, disgrace for an international pitch really annoys me with them relaying pitches all the time, its not like they dont know what these guys are going to do on them.

Unreal hit by Bastareud on Roberts.
two 17 stone centres going smash into each other.

It beats me how people can say the 6N is top tournament. Game is slowly improving though.

 did you not watch last weekend? To say it's not a top competition is daft.

Better from France. Huget, Fall and Basteraud looking good.

Bad sign when there's a Mexican wave going around the stadium after 25 minutes

My point is, the 6N isn't better than SH one. To me that's the top tournament, but others can have their opinions too.

Major issue for Wales at 10. Its not like they're missing a good 10 due to injury either. They really need Prince Harry to develop into an international standard 10 fairly quickly.

    Great catch by Roberts.
He's starting to be his effective self again.

I like seeing Hibbard getting a chance.
Was talking to him back in October, very sound lad.
    Matthew Rhees, not so much.

You said the six nations isn't a top tournament, you didn't even mention the rugby championship

It is a top tournament, might not always be a great spectacle though
