Anyone else lonely this Valentines?

This valentines day is going to hurt, knowing that a lot of the girls I fancy will be getting screwed. What will make it hurt even more is the true reminder that I'm alone. Rather than staying at home hurting, I'd better go out.
Surely most of the girls out on Valentines night will be single and on the look out, and therefore I might stand a better chance? Will anyone else be hurt this valentines day too?

It's not the end of the world that you're single you know. It's usually when you least expect it that someone special will come along unless you're just after a quick fook? I can PM you my sisters number, she's a bit of a slut TBF

We both hate Valentine's day.

How can flowers from someone on Valentine's day mean anything? They're given out of pressure to conform to this ridiculous holiday.

I'd be inclined to give presents/flowers now and then out of the blue, but I'll never do it because it's Valentine's day.

No-one should have to make up an excuse for being single. One doesn't have to have a reason. I've never asked someone why they're in a relationship. It doesn't have to be everyone's default status.

This will be the 24th Valentine's Day in a row where I'm all by myself.
Granted the first twelve or thirteen don't really count......but still it's a pretty depressing thought. I hate Valentine's Day but if I was actually with someone, and happy, I reckon I'd be dumb enough to partake in the whole corporate bullshít shenanigans; I'm sort of in an awkward position between hopeless romantic and miserable cynic.

OP, being on your own on Valentines day doesn't matter! It's only another day ffs, nothing special about it.

You can do something most guys who are in relationships won't be able to do that night, fap the night away with the pants down and the volume up

I've never had a problem with Valentines day.
Definitely never got bitter about it anyway, don't understand why people do... as I said last valentines day, if you're worried about being single on valentines, don't be..noone loves you any other day of the year either.

See your assuming there that everybody who's not in a relationship is automatically miserable and that everyone in a relationship is ecstatically happy. And the only reason that we would be forced to come up with philosiphies about loneliness is that the rest of the world doesn't believe us when we say we are contented on our own.
