Great game so far, never think it was a friendly. That Fabregas goal was a shocker tho, no idea what keeper was at.

Isco on now, lets see what all the fuss is about :P

The England commentator (unintentionally) sounded so bitter just now. :) He was banging on about Cole and Gerrard reaching 100 caps. Then the video cuts to Ronaldino picking up an award for reaching 100 and the commentator reminds us that Ronaldinho only has 95 "real" caps.

Denmark losing 3-0 to Macedonia. Full enough Danish team as well with Eriksen, Agger. just missing Bentdner :D

Saw 7 off was hoping it was Suarez, but he's still there to risk getting injured.

Super ball by Cesc and simple finish by Pedro. 3-1 Spain

    Silence ruined there.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 16,107 ✭✭✭✭niallo27

How can people disrupt a minutes silence like that, you would have to be some knob to do it.

France vs Germany on in a few minutes, Germany didn't win there since 1987. Apparently, Daniel Nivel will be there as well.

Hopefully, none of Borussia Dortmund's players will pick up an injury.

Hopefully Adler gives Jogi a selection headache

Very poor penalty by Ronaldinho, could have been another pen in the follow up for a foul on Neymar

England 1 up against Brazil. Rooney.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,683 ✭✭✭Luckycharms_74

    England 1 - 0 Brazil
Super ball by Wilshere to Walcott, good save by keeper, good finish by Rooney for the goal

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 11,128 ✭✭✭✭Oranage2

Rooney with a goal, Wilshere easily the best player out there.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 10,462 ✭✭✭✭WoollyRedHat

50/1, Wayne Rooney to score first goal, Shane Long to score first against Poland. Part 1 done, here's hoping Shane.

Brilliant tackle from Lloris to deny a certain Ozil goal

Neymar miss 1 yd out open goal at pace, quality ball by Oscar

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 16,382 ✭✭✭✭greendom

I switched streams and thought that I'd missed half time as the teams had changed ends. i'd always imagined that there was only one set of cameras at a ground.

scotland valiantly holding estonia to a draw so far, can the bravehearts hold out for a famous 0-0

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 7,627 ✭✭✭Lawrence1895

Germany a bit lucky there, Benzema should have buried that one

Malta have sacked their manager following a home draw with Northern Ireland.

england, ireland, wales and scotland all 1-0 up at half-time, astonishing, unprecedented stuff - a new era in home nations football?

Fantastic free-kick from Benzema hits the cross bar and Valbuena heads home the rebound (via a headed pass from Cissokho)

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 7,627 ✭✭✭Lawrence1895

France 1:0 up with the stroke of half time. Freekick coming of the crossbar, and the German defense all over the place at the rebound

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 12,016 ✭✭✭✭klose

Baines on for cole on his 100th cap, bit strange. Baines is the superior full back these days imo anyways

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 11,128 ✭✭✭✭Oranage2

Mistakes by cahil, great finish by fred

Anybody else think Neymar is shockingly overrated?

He's been muck tonight and was the last time I watched him as well.

Cabaye (hope I spell him right), with a back pass right into the German striker's (forgot, who it was) foot, who then assisted for Mueller

Northern Ireland drew 0-0 with Malta ensuring for now that, while the RoI's prospects are down, the north's prospects are looking even worse.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 7,627 ✭✭✭Lawrence1895

    2:1 Germany, slightly offside, imo

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 15,468 ✭✭✭✭Oat23

Wonderful pass from Özil, finished by Khedira.

    2-1 Germany.

    What a pass.

Not taking it away from England's performance, but that Brazil team is awful. Scolari's work at hand methinks. I think that they better get someone else before the World Cup finals.....

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 16,382 ✭✭✭✭greendom

Germany well on top since the goal

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 7,627 ✭✭✭Lawrence1895

Even had a goal ruled out...but nobody was complaining ;)
