Drinking too much herbal tea??

    :)Just a quick one, I drink just herbal tea,s, I can have up to ten a day,Is this to much and can it have any bad long term effects Thanks.

    Ps At the moment I find drinking litres of water to cold.

    Too much of anything is bad for you.

    I would say yes. Ten cups of tea today is excessive.

    I think it's probably a bit more caffeine than should ideally be consumed. That's the most of it, I'd say. You could do worse.

    There usually isnt a whole lot of caffeine in herbal teas.

    I'm sure its not doing any major harm - other than making you go to the toilet alot!

    Most of those aren't even tea (Camellia sinensis). Guess it depends on your definition of things but lemon, ginger, peppermint etc would be considered "Infusions" and don't contain any caffeine. I wouldn't worry about it, good way to drink lots of liquid and more interesting than water imo.
