g&g FN HERSTAL F2000

i have in my possesion a g&g fn herstal f2000 that i bought during summer 2012.
the rifle is near mint condition . it has only been used once . i still have the original packaging . the gun chronoes at 0.96 joules and packs quite a punch .
the gun has unique serial number on rear iron sight and has fn herstal official stamp on the stock . original price paid for this gun was 380 . as it is in very good condition and has been used only once my asking price is 320 as it comes with two batteries and two mags but the price can be discussed . i am based in dublin . <Snip> . :cool:

What type of Battery is it using? I have several Nunchuck types. Meet me at €280?

right it takes a 9.6 v small type yeah a nunchuck will fit perfectly , try and be fair as the gun has only been shot a few times and isnt old and its made by g&g under licence of fn herstal . 290 is fairer .

I agree €290 is a fair price. I am scraping together all funds at the moment. €280 is like the best I can do right now. This same gun was going on special for 275 up to last week on Hobyairsoft. I just didnt have the funds on time....

I really want it and it will go to a good home. How about you keep the Battery and just give me the mags?

also if the sale hasnt been made in a day or 2 its yours

Tbh mate, I've only recently "converted" to the F2000 after seeing it in action in Redbarn. Up to then, it wasn't my cup of tea. However I'm looking at a similar style of gun, the G&G P90 which is €285 new, so I wouldn't be prepared to go any higher on my offer for the F2000. It's a great gun and any prospective owner would be lucky to have it. GLWS

Yes and no mate. Great gun, looks different but I've just found out that I'd have to modify my M4 mags to fit them in it. I'm going to pay a visit to Hobbyairsoft to look at one close up and then decide. If you get another offer in the meantime, go ahead and accept it. In the interim, I'm withdrawing my offer.

I spoke to a guy who had a F2000 and he said that mid caps have to be modded to fit in the F2000's magwell. I did some research and found that this is because of some "lug" sticking out from the gearbox down into the magwell. This evidently doesn't affect hi caps. There's a vid on this on "Oddysairsoft" that goes into this in more detail. See vid here - about 2 minutes in where he mentions it http://youtu.be/h7cnzsNGvSE

As I only possess mid caps for my M4, it's the thought of either buying hi caps or messing around with my mid caps that's putting me off.

Saying that, after watching the Oddy review on this gun again, I'm still interested in getting one, just need to visit Hobby and hold one to see if it suits me.
