Not sure if this is more appropriate to S&B or the Dun Laoghaire forum, but I figure sailors might use these more so I chanced here.....

Does anyone use the webcams that are available on the dlharbour.ie website? I used to log onto them all the time, but they haven't worked on my laptop in ages. I can't figure out if this is a software/other problem on my laptop, or if the cameras aren't operational any more. I emailed the DL Harbour Company a couple of times but no repsonse from them.

Can anyone tell me if they can get the camera views at the moment?

    Ta very much!

Ask them where you can pay your mooring fees I'm sure they will get back to you :D

I have asked on one of the FB pages maybe someone will get back to me and I'll let you know.

Hurray! Working for me again, finally! (I tried yesterday on the phone, the tablet AND the laptop, no joy - I was beginning to despair.)

No idea what changed, but thanks for your replies, all :D

The performance of the DLH webcams is erratic to say the least. I tune in regularly and quite often nothing happens, then for no apparent reason at all it works fine an hour later. A great facility all the same particularly during the sailing season.

Howth yacht club have a good webcam aswell for anyone heading over that way. Looks out from the club towards the harbour mouth and Irelands Eye.

:(Dunlaoire Harbour website has changed & they seem to have given up taking their own weather conditions (now using another online service) & new link to webcams
