I'd say that lack of "get well" messages is more to do with "how lucky i've been" or "I'm still hurting after the last one".

It's been 14 years since my last t-bone and I get the odd gentle reminder now and again.

    Heal well my friend.

    (How's the bike?)

Sorry to hear that old chap. Same happened me about ten years ago. Only proper advice I can give is to make a note (write it down)
of everything that happened while its still fresh in your head. You'll need a solicitor
On a brighter note, its too poxy out to go for a spin today anyway :D

Get well soon. All to common this type of incident. atgatt +1

I don't have a trailer or van, sorry. But I do have a back garden you can store the bike if you're stuck and I've lots of free time today if I can help you out with anything ~ I'm assuming you're a northsider?.. I'm in Dublin 13.

PM me if you need a dig out with anything.

Last, I'm sorry to hear about your accident and I'm aware that its small comfort but aren't you lucky you're here today to tell us about it.

    Get well soon.

Jeusus that's awful. I got t-boned on friday too. My fazer is wrote off. I'm okay besides bruising and pulled muscles. It was more my fault than theirs so I've just been county my lucky stars that I didn't come out with anything broken.

I just hope you mend quickly and there's not long term damage. Will you be up for swinging your leg over a bike again?

kudos to cormie off boards for going to collect my bike tomorrow.

do need pins and plate for one of the breaks in the foot :-(

shoulder is still unknown at this point. tomorrow maybe.

Have solicitor numbers on hand to ring tomorrow. Been advised to let them handle it cos I'm supposed to start a new job in two weeks and I'm gonna be on some nice meds and not the right state of mind

Plus I hope you have it better than I did when I broke my leg and damaged my shoulder (on the same side).

Arm was put in a sling then I was carted off to Xray. Got the xray results and had to be put in a cast, all grand.

Xray doctor puts my leg in the cast, then hands me a pair of crutches. Took him a few seconds to see my arm all slung up and just says 'Oh'.

    Was wheelchaired out :pac:

As a few others have said - been there, done that. Horrible situation to be in - bike broken and you broken. Get well soon chief. I know it doesn't help right now - but at least you're alive to tell the tale.
