I am getting 200 AC from a normal three pin plug into a device which has 12v DC fans, I also want to power some (3 volt I think) leds.

Can anyone recommend on how I would go about doing this?

    Thanks.

You'll need a 12v power supply, the current needed will depend on the current rating on your fans. I think the fans i fitted to my TV unit were about 200mA each but it should say on them.

These power supplies are quite nice.

LEDs are current dependant unless they are prewired for a specific voltage so you can run them from any voltage, you just need the right resistance.

The quickest and cheapest way to experiment before buying a fully fledged specific power supply would be to use a desktop computer power supply Using 230V AC in and various voltages out including the 12V mentioned.
