Process for applying for internships

    Hi all,

I was wondering what is the exact process when applying for internships.

I'm in 3rd year due to receive an ordinary degree in Electrical and Electronic Systems in Dundalk (with emphasis on electronic design) this Summer and I'm hoping to get an internship, ideally paid, somewhere in Louth, Meath or Dublin.

TBH, if I can get a half decent job I'd rather do my fourth year part time through Bluebrick and work at the same time, but if I can't, I'd like to do an internship over the Summer and do the final year full time.

At the moment I'm working part time in retail to fund my education and I would like to be employed and gaining experience rather than just be employed.

Has anyone else had this experience or has any advice to offer?
