When moving posts to an existing thread, gives the above error due to the different url

You have not specified a valid URL for the thread that you want to merge. Please check that the URL includes a valid threadid, "t=xxx" or postid, "p=xxx" (where xxx is a number), and is not a redirect.

Thanks for the bug report Davy, we'll get it sorted as soon as possible.

For now you can use the old style vBulletin URL so if the thread was:

http://www.boards.ie/ttfthread/12345

Then the URL you use is:

http://www.boards.ie/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=12345
