best place to buy weights for beginner?

    You can get basic weights/bars/dumbells in Argos pretty cheap. They do the job. Elvery's do them too. There are plenty other places, I'm sure more will be along in a minute to tell you.

    If you could get them second hand on either donedeal or adverts that would be the cheapest, plenty of people trying to get rid....

    What are you looking to do?

    As mentioned argos do them as do elverys. Irish lifting online do loads too.

    What exactly am I looking for here to buy weights, guys? How many weights/dumbells should I be buying? I do my own workout in the gym but can never seem to get the weights they're always taken...so I want to do the weights at home when i'm hanging or chilling whenever I want to... any advice? What do I start with - then do I buy more or do they come in a set? I' haven't a clue lol!!!!
