Tonight (Monday 1/21/13), it’s the final episode of Monday Night Raw before the Royal Rumble takes center stage this Sunday. The Rock and CM Punk will undoubtedly do their best to fire off some last words towards each other with the hopes of winning the battle of mind games heading into their WWE Championship match, and hopefully some more Royal Rumble entrants are announced tonight as well. Check out the full Raw preview below:
–Team Rhodes Scholars have one more week to further exploit the tenuous psyches of Team Hell No. Will Sandow and Rhodes be able to capitalize on the instability of Daniel Bryan and Kane’s mental states, or will they fall prey to Hell No’s ability to unite against common enemies?
–The Miz received an endorsement by Ric Flair last week, but I must say his applications of the Figure Four since then have been anything but awesome. Meanwhile, Antonio Cesaro is just incredible to watch in the ring, so let’s hope Cesaro continues to neutralize Miz.
–Alberto Del Rio owned Big Show last week, in every way. How will the Giant get back his mojo?
–Who else will enter the Royal Rumble match this week? JTG? Epico? That dude Camacho? Find out tonight!
–And of course, The Rock and Punk. Here’s looking at you, fellas.

Interest in Rock lasted two weeks!

WWE may as well stick with the pg stuff and cena as the star of the show, at least then they know how much money they will make.

Gimmick won't be bothering with RAW this week anyway.

I think That had to be the worst promo (if you would call it a promo) ive seen from Cena ever, although considering the stuff he's done in the past, i stand to be corrected, This Character is as stale as May Young and even the Kid he was talking to last night looked like he got fed up listening to him.

Thought it was a decent enough show in terms of building for the PPV. Writing The Shield off for the Rock/Punk match adds intrigue, Del Rio vs Big Show as a LMS match is smart since I'd wager most people didn't see it two weeks ago on Smackdown, and I love the end-of-Raw brawls that are traditional before the Rumble.

Anyone else think the reason they've given The Shield the "Lights out" gimmick is cause there'll be a moment when this happens...

*Lights go out during a Punk match*
Cole: Oh no, we know what this means! It's The...
*Lights come back on*
Cole: Sh.......UNDERTAKAH!?!?! OH MY, He's back!
*Punk looks horrified as Taker stands in front of him*

Also really hope PP do a "Longest time in the Rumble" bet so I can back Ziggler

i quite literally won't watch Wrestlemania if it's Rock/Cena II for the title.

and that's especially after the Cena they pushed on Raw in that final segment. fúcking wang. Punk and Rock gave a couple of money promos, while Cena did his best to make anyone who has already purchased the event, demand a refund.

Wow - Cena outdid himself in the sh!te promo stakes! That was just pathetic - it says more when Blandy Orton delivers a better promo, and the Miz gets more reaction just by saying "really?", Hell I prefered 3MB and they have one member who just shouldnt 3 M Be there! (I'm not proud of that!)


In other news I liked this RAW, made the Shield look class once again (their video camera promos are brilliant), Backlund getting the recognition he deserves, seriously built the Punk vs. Rock match, and the WHC match (love the LMS stipulation again!) made the Rumble seem damned important with 3 beat the clock challenges and the brawl at the end with everyone wanting to win! Did a great job with everything (except the Cena promo) so Kudos to WWE!

"I'M THE ROYAL RUMBLE CHAMPION", leads to a triple threat title match instead of the WM match, and then a Bryan vs Kane WM match.
