Lemlin and roryc are like an old married couple. Lots of bickering and sly digs but really they love eachother.

For a decent player this week 81 is below average. I scored 80 and would consider it yet another below average week. 90 is a good score this week. 100 is very good.

Lovers tiff my arse, he's on ignore for a reason.

I'm 26 points above the FPL average atm before the bonuses and would consider that a good score. In fairness though any 70+ week is good in my opinion unless there's a week where all the big guns have a field day which is pretty rare.

82 points before BPs. Delighted considering I had only 42 coming into the game. :D

    Bads:
    Ba only getting 10 minutes
Perch coming on in time to concede two goals bringing his score to 0
Not hitting confirm on the switch from Begovic to Federici

    Goods:
    Walcott captain fantastic
    Podolski
    Wilshere

you must hate this game most weeks if 81 is ever average.

I think it is my best score ever - i started in gw6 this year. Learning the game, started from big mistakes, now making up a proper team with 101 in the bank... It is fun, and watching games now is double pleasure, except those 0-0 where i have no defenders involved...

Inside the top 10k for the first time this season

77 prebonus. Had podolski lined up for the double until Lemlin and his podolski 60 min stat.

I just gave my opinion and stated the facts. I looked at himself myself and decided against it.

The wrong decision now but hindsight is a great thing. This game is about making more right decisions than wrong ones and hopefully I'll get the next few right.

I won't be mentioning my future tactics on here as much anyway. As I mentioned previously, a friend from my personal league has been spying and let it slip with a few drinks in!

Expect to drop overall but will rocket in my money leagues.

Bap chap: pod 3 ground 3 Walcott 1

Is there a minus 4 to come off that?

The missus got 86 so just wondering if she is going through.

77 pre-bonus. I have a feeling that I'll be dropping again. I've dropped over 2,000 places in two weeks now. My WC has been a disaster so far.

I'm on 84 points and have fallen since before the game. I was up to 300 something in the world and now I am into the 600s. I'm guessing I needed more than just the two I had featuring tonight.

I'm down from what I was last week even which surprises me.

The FPL average is a joke. If you want a realistic average take the top 50 in the boards or FFS league and get the average from that. I think it would be about 86 this week.

And you can't just think that any 70+ point week is good. Totally depends what the realistic average is. If it's 50 and you got 70 this is a great week. If it's 90 and you got 70 this is a sh*t week.

    88 still green arrows,happy out.

I have moved from 65k worldwide to 34k since i activated my wildcard so i am classing that as a wildcard well used.

96 for the week and through in both of the cups, can't complain about that but I wonder am I ever happy, I still had 5 players scoring nothing extra so am always wondering what could have been, suppose this is normal.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 10,969 ✭✭✭✭alchemist33

95 for the week. About 6 weeks ago, I was 90 behind the leader in a private league. Now I'm leading! But only three points separate the top three so we're going to have an interesting run-in.

Oh, and WC being played this week. Hope I don't screw it up.

    That's just as unrealistic.

Taking the average score of the top 50 players in what are probably 2 of the top 10 leagues in the world is no reflection of the 'average' score.

If your goal is to top these leagues then I agree you need to be in around that value you've given.

107 for the week, happy out.

Inside the top 6k over all. Added 25 to my lead in private league so now 48. And within 13pts of the leader for the Jan MOTM in The Panel league which has €100 prize. Everyone above me has played their WC already, so could potentially target the next GW to try and snatch that - private league is €90 1st €50 2nd, and am 150pts clear of 3rd so tempted to give it a crack.

Doesn't seem right to be seeing red arrows in a week you clear 80 points. Victims of our own success I suppose.

Depends what you consider 'average'. If you score lower than the FF average then you have likely had a shocker of a week.

The part in bold nailed it. I would assume everyone that posts on here is trying to top their leagues? Most posters here are in the top 50 in boards anyway, so it's more like the average of all regular posters. I just checked the FSA Cup thread and the average is 85.2. Take out the couple of people outside the top 50 in boards and I think my estimate of 86 is bang on.

If you scored less than 86 this week you can expect to see red arrows. If you see a lot of green arrows then you are probably outside the top 50k.

89 for the week but more red arrows than green and my first overall red in 5 weeks.

I'm 120 points ahead on my main money league and 4th in the Boards.ie money league so need to push on a bit. 20 behind 3rd and 39 behind 4th. Wildcard still there but I haven't a clue when to use it. Had Chelsea and Villa reached the cup fina, i'd have been laughing but it's now just Swansea and whoever their opponent should have been. Nothing to get excited about.

90 & green arrows all round, eventually passed Mr.Lucky in one league,he has barely looked at his team since September yet by some fluke gets decent scores every week.

Podolski has given me a headache for next week though, his showing last night has put my plan to leave him as sub & play all my midfield 'stars' into doubt.I'll see how the FA Cup games go & maybe make plans then.

Ah I know hindsight is great was only winding you up I had my eye on both pod or carzola anyway. Decided to not tamper with my front 7 for the sake of one week. It cost me a few points this week but chances are I would have taken a four point hit to get rid of either of the above anyway. Most lads in my mini league now have 3 arsenal players they gained a few points on me this week but Ill judge the decision over the next few weeks as most of them took out Bale or mata to make it happen. At the end of the day Pod played 69 mins over the course of the two games 17 pts there was not to be expected. Thats a less offensive way of saying Lucky ( Rory C):)

What hes saying is true I was just outside top 5k before this week dropped 1,000 places despite getting 79 pts. Anyone outside the top 50k getting 79 would be seeing green arrows. The higher you climb the easier it is to fall.

I'd love to know what I'd be on if I'd picked perfectly from my own squad over the season in terms of captain and subs.

I get 103 and I've 2 red arrows. DGW's. They're great and bad at the same time.

    90 for the week.

back to where I think I started this week...top of Boards, and 87th overall.

seems mad for such a high score.

can't be anything but delighted though, even with Marveaux, Clyne and Federici on the bench.
